AC Infinity EVO 4 ? 's

I have an ACI 3’ x 2’ tent with the ACI Evo 4 300 watt light. with the light hung 22-24" above the canopy. I am currently in the 4th week of auto flowers flowering, but when i set the dimmer on the light to maximum the plants do t like it at all, they start looking like they need water but they don’t. When I cut the light back to 80% plants seem much happier. Am i to close to canopy at full power or is 300 full watts just to much light for a 3x2 tent ? At full power temps stay between 77-80 deg. 4 different strain auto’s

It isn’t. I run 400 watts per plant in my grows.

Light intensity is measured in PPFD. PPFD minimum guidelines are:

Seedling: 300
Veg: 600
Flower: 800

You can measure PPFD with the Photone phone app.

Ok I will get the app and check it. Thanks

Seconding the photone app. I guess I can’t say with certainty that it’s precisely accurate but since I started using it I haven’t had any light burn issues. Just make sure to follow the instructions for making a diffuser

+1 on this point, assuming the app tells you to use one. (On some older Android phones, Photone uses the ambient light sensor, which requires no diffuser and gives much less accurate measurements.)

Also, pay the $6.50 for an in-app purchase of the “LED full spectrum” option. That addition will increase the app’s accuracy for measuring your light significantly.

240 watts can flower that tent just fine. 6 sq ft does not require alot. (40w per sq ft). You still should have a idea of the ppfd your running at along with proper suggested height. Honestly even at 35 watts per, would flower that tent just fine or 210w.

I agree, this is more light than you need for 6 ft².

Yes I agree that it’s more light then needed for 6sq’ but i bought it with intentions of upsizing my tent I just haven’t yet. I had a Viparspectra 1500 pro in that tent originally and it did pretty good but 150w was barely getting it
