63 days of flower.getting close

All the trichromes are cloudy with a few clear here and there. Still some white hairs. She been working hard. She did pop a few seeds but thats OK, love the little extra gems. Planned on going 70 to 75 days but even with feeding slica She still falling over. My biggest buds to date. Was going to take her down but I think I’ll wait a week . No Amber’s yet , what you all think?

She looks great, but I also think she has several weeks yet to go. Maybe even 4 by the looks of her. She’s young enough I would’ve even be checking trichomes yet.

How many weeks she been in flower?

Crazy, she looks so much younger. You got a slow girl on your hands. She’d be a long way away from harvest in my tent.

It’s actually 10 weeks from flip of lights date but 9 weeks from first sign of flower. Guess I’ll keep her going.

At 10 weeks from flip, most will subtract 2 weeks. Putting you at 8 werks. Making start of flower when you have good hedgehogs all over. What I have learned from here, is to wait until the red pistils begen to recede back into the plant. This indicates the plant is done seeking any pollen. If you look at the bracts, (calyx) they are open, like any flower. The petals are outwards and the pistils are out from the center. As the end nears, these will close up and the hairs will protruding from the tip.

Once they close up, I will start checking trichromes but am about a week or so out.

How old was the plant when you flipped the light schedule? She may not have been sexually mature plus the transition period…6 -7 weeks in flower would be my assumption. I often flip at week 4 knowing there’s a possibility of 2 weeks of veg left plus approximately 7-10 days for the transition :love_you_gesture:

Ive been going by what seed manufacturer says 8 to 10 weeks. I wonder why my flower was good but great , not a lot of flavor but smelled good. Guess i been doing myself a major dis service.

Marketing misinformation Growmie, they be able to pull some these advertised times off but not often and the stars and moons need to be lined up to do so . I start counting flowering time 2 weeks after I flip the light and check trichomes around week 8. Harvesting too soon can rob you of fully ripe fruit and the buzz can be racy and give you an anxiety type of buzz :love_you_gesture:
