For no good reason I looked at the trichs on both plants and about 5% Amber already.n Trichsare practically dripping. I pulled two tiny sugar leaves and smoked. got me a little bit high. WTF? Suggestions? Advice?
Post a pic or 3. Sugar leaves are irrelevant, for smoking or figuring maturity. Is she auto or photo?
Thanks @Audiofreak . She is indica hybrid photo, borderliner is one girl, northern lights another. I wish I could take pic of trichs. Suffice one of a bud on each plant is best I can do.
What Audiofreak said is accurate. Even though we call that a bud, what you have there is all leaves and pistils. As they get bigger the actual flower blossoms or buds will plump up and show themselves. You have a ways to go yet. Trichs on those leaves amber up all during the grow.

@Spiney_norman that is awesome to tell me, much better than the internet blogs, dang it all anyway. I am hearing you tell me, more or less, don’t get ahead of your skis and wait til week eight or thereabouts. I hear you saying lots of plump out needed and take care of them and leave them alone lol! Which I am entirely willing to do.

You got it exactly right.
Watch from 8 weeks on…All the white pistils will darken to brown and curl up.
Then look at the trichs on the flowers.
I bow to the masters in this forum. I wasn’t exactly sure wtf was going on.

You got some surprises comming, she’s gonna get bigger, fatter, smelly and all things good! A few weeks min. Maybe a month. That is good advise above from spiney_norman
even tho I am terrible newb, first grower, at least I can came here and get steadied by the experts.
as a small thanks, I will post a couple pics from last week so you can see what the grow is. 50% coco, 25% perlite, 25% worm castings (mine), GH hydro, viparsprectra P2500 (250 w led), pH in 5.6, pH out 6.2, 2x4 grow tent. Scrog of my own design.
ok so you are 4 weeks into flower given your count? gorgeous. really! very exciting!
I count flower when she is putting out hairs and building “buttons” usually for me about 8/10days after light change. It can vary though.
right. so you know (for my own ease in counting) I am counting from flip. Your girl is very beautiful already! looks a bit further than mine, altho there ARE amber pistils and curling in, I think you are further along.
Different strains. And if you figure "transition " time after flipping you about 2.5 weeks ahead of me. But you have a flatter canopy than i.
Transitioned for two weeks before flip. then a little tucking for next two weeks. then hands off and no more touching. Total eight weeks of veg (from birthdays) before flip.

I would encourage scrog! but my tent is 2x4x5
and I had to figure it out. as you might imagine, I keep a spreadsheet on the grow lol.
