Curently using 1 gallon cloth bags for my grow. Working fine but the most i can get in there is 18. I figure i can get between 45-50 with the solo cups any advice?

In where? I’m assuming you mean a tent. What exactly are you trying to do?

Yes a tent

I want to grow in the larger solo cups. Was just wondering if anyone else has.

Don’t mind me I am 1/2 retarded. But why do you need 18 plants or 50 Solo cups in a tent? Are you transferring these outside? Where are you planning on growing them all in a tent? :tent:

Yes lol all in the tent.

What size tent do you have? Are they Auto flowers or photo.

Are you trying to do a SOG grow?

Well, i have 3. The flowering tent is 5x4x2 and i have a veg tent that is 2x2x2.5 and a prop twnt that is the same.

What size pots will you be transplanting them to?

Yes thats what ive been doing with the 1 gallons. Just wondering if these would work. Yes sog.

Im not transplanting them

This is what i have now

That looks good. What kind of yield do you get out of 1 gal pots?

I don’t do SOG but I used to help a friend in his SOG grows and he would use 1 gal minimum. IDK if a big solo is big enough to get them through flower. If you want to try with smaller containers you might look into seedling bags on amazon. They would probably work better than a solo cup.

Depends on the strwin and how its grown. I usualy get a QP wet from each

But some only give my an ounce or 2

Well, at the moment i have a couple in the flowering tent in smaller solos(reg size) and they are flowering. So im these solo cups are almost 2x bigger. I have automatic watering systems so that wont be a problem getting to them

I’m impressed. I just never seen anybody do it this way before. Sounds like you definitely got it going on!

Ah OK. I assumed you were doing water only method for some reason. bags would still be great. they are like cheap disposable fabric pots but smaller. They shouldn’t get root bound like solo cups do.
