300w cfl dual spectrum

Hello to all,
since I’ve been searching and reading a lot about the growing lights, in
the end I do not know what to do. The flowering stage is closer and I use 300w cfl dual
spectrum (18,000 lumens). My growbox is 23"x23"x62". I took this bulb because I could not
really control the temperature below 91f when I used 250w hps without a cooltube. I do not have enough space for a cooltube in the growbox. But I think during the winter time somehow i could managed to control the temp if I put 150w hps without a cooltube.
The question is whether 150w hps are more efficient in flowering stage than the 300w cfl dual spectrum?
Or it might be better to put 250w hps? But i don’t know if 250w hps put out much more heat than 150w hps?

I have 183 cubic meter per hour extractor fan capacity.

Maybe the question is a bit complicated but I would like to get highest possible yield from one plant.

Thank you very much

obviously with HPS the more Wattage you give the better the grow that’s the same for everything CFL… HPS… LED and on that subject LED might be worth a look at for a small 2 x 2 grow room a nice 300w led would be just right be interesting to see what the fellas you tagged in say
ohh and as for the original question of 300w CFL being better or worse than a 150w HPS hmmm HPS can penetrate better but not sure on that 1 Country knows lights people lol

For max yields you should look into training techniques as well lst super cropping and a rigging are three that work well and are easy to apply
And as @B345T stated more watts = more yield
Maybe you should look into led lights ?

Keep in mind that each light gives off different amounts of heat when on and running. Small grow areas usually get hot easily, so I’d go with a LED for sure. A 300w LED is perfect for a 2x2 grow area.

As always a quick response
thank you very much

I’ll look at the led lights definitely…
If you have a suggestion…which led light? best manufacturer?..i prefer veg/flower in one

I can spend up to 900 if needed, but better cheaper if possible

thanks again

well if you have that kind of a budget, you can buy the newest technology for LED lights. I personally use 2 300w MarsHydro LEDs, which cost me $90 from an old forum member Vic. I got a steal of a deal, but I would recommend these lights to anyone looking for cheap, but quality LEDs.

For you, I’d recommend getting the new COB LEDs, because they are the newest LED tech and will be the most efficient!

If you have that kind of budget you can get a nice light but I started with a galaxy hydro 300 watt 9 band with UV and IR
I pick up o Amazon for like 89$ still use them mixed in with my 1000 watt cob leds
Can’t post links I’m tech stupid lol
But I suggest you go with a cob style since you can afford the couple extra $ they cost imo they give you a more even light the standard leds

The initial cost of the COB lighting is what scares people away but it’s because they are so efficient and are amazing at what they do! You’ll save money in the long run, I need to invest in COBs

Yeaa definitely go out and read read read! Do as much research as possible, because lighting is an important part of the growing environment, and you’ll want to invest the most money into your lighting, in my opinion.

There are tons of videos out there and other articles about the COBs and LEDs

i mis-read i thought it said 90 lol geeshh for 900 yeah COBs would be the way to go… Don’t a couple of the admins make them here and sell them? I’m sure i seen @latewood say somewhere about making them and them being $100 cheaper than some other brand maybe that was just what he was saving though

as you can tell i barely read the posts in forums i have a bad habit of proof reading things looking at keywords  this is why i need someone to just say "you need 1 of these 2 of them and 1 of those and that’s your perfect scientifically proven best light set up lmao

Not a cob light but that light is nice @Ivan2309
I believe the list wattage is also actual watt drawn
You be happy with that it’s a lot of coin for the wattage tho
But 12 bands
I don’t think you can go wrong with it
