2024 Grow begins!

Put together the tent today and am soaking beans in a mix of rainwater, tap water that was allowed to sit to off-gas any chlorine, 3% hydrogen peroxide and a few drips of Clonex gel.

2024 Strains:
Kosher Kush, Bobbie Dazzler, Permanent Marker, LIT Marker, Sticky Rice, Crazy Bitch F1, Tie-Dye, Vietnamese Black, Mullumbimby Two Step, Indiana Bubble Gum BX, Cherry Paloma, and Snoop’s Applefrizzle.

Again, starting seeds indoors and then moving outdoors.

Cheers to a new season! JBB

After a 6 hour soak, moved them between two coffee filters and two plates on the heat mat.

After about 39 hours total, two already showing tails.

Happy Pie Day! Here is my Cherry Paloma strain seedling (Tropicanna Cherries x Georgia Pie) Feminized Photoperiod, 70% Indica/30% Sativa, by Raw Genetics. A Scotty favorite from the Dude Grows podcasts.

Of the 12 seeds started, 11 are doing well. One may need to be replaced as it’s being stubborn, but will give it a few more days in soil to sprout (ziplock covered). Much better success than last year doing a shorter soak and coffee filters).

4 are regular (M/F) so will be genetic testing via Farmer Freeman soon.

15 hours of light and 9 hours darkness. Did 18 hours light cycle last year and too much stress going outdoors caused early flowering on some that reveged.

Love your setup
Beautiful one showing her face…

Been a bit so here’s how we are tonight:

Red cup dome as the Tie-Dye was not doing well so I planted another seed… Two M/F strain samples off to Farmer Freeman for genetic testing.

Transplanted most to larger containers. Two Farmer Freeman sex tests both female! Crazy bitch is not a guy in drag! Mullumbimby two step also a fem. One test to go on Vietnamese Black mailed in yesterday.

Going to need to top these if I hope to keep them inside until May.

Happy Eclipse Day! Here are my girls at 4.5 weeks from soil after topping at the fifth node and clearing out modes one and two. Awaiting sex determination on Vietnamese Black before trimming. Replacement for one in the red cup dome but up.

Roots on some already out the bottom after transfer to larger containers. Perhaps I need to shorten 18/6 to slow them down? Need to wait for more sun before putting outside…

Happy growing my friend…:beers:

2 1/2 months invested to find a male from a feminized pack. Cherry Paloma. Nature found a way… always a bummer.

With this time loss, I guess I’ll replace it with an Autoflower…
