2 pin meter questions

I have a 2 pin meter and I’m not sure how to convert the reading of wood to rh

I don’t understand what you are saying with the “wood” part. If you want to measure RH, then go with one of these.

Are you referring to one of these? What are you referring to and what do you want to measure with it? The wood part is confusing.

Those 2 probe meters are notoriously inaccurate, if that is what your question is. I would go with a proper pH meter. They are useless for measuring light and pH readings are usually off. The moisture part of the meter is useful only for relative comparisons.

Are you talking about a moisture meter they don’t do rh

If you are talking about using a moisture meter that is used to check moisture in wood and other construction materials the suggested percentage to move blooms to curing is 11%. That’s what Grove Bags suggest before you put your blooms in their bags for curing
I check several buds to get a general idea of overall dryness of my harvest

Moisture meter, don’t poke yourself but poke it into the “buds” to read the drying moisture. Go poke it into different things around the house and get a feel for it. It does take a little pressure.

I’m using the general MMD4E. But I recently saw on the thread somewhere that if it reads 20% then that means it’s actually 50%. But as you say I plan on using the Grove bags anyway if I can actually get them sent to me I’ve been waiting for three weeks.

If I had a dime for every time I did this…

You may want to give Grove Bags a call or email them. I’ve ordered from them 3 times every time I received them within a week. They seem to be very customer service focused so if there is an issue they will do right

would that be penniless

Thanks I appreciate that. But I’ve already spoke to them and it’s a FedEx logistical issue for where I am in Ohio and they won’t send it via any other carrier. My local Shop is waiting on me to get them and test them out before they carry them. I’m trying to help a local company out but they’re not exactly working with me and I’m acting as a freelance rep basically.

That’s exactly the information I was referring to how he translated 11% on the pin meter to 58 to 62% on an Rh

Let’s ask him ,@Audiofreak could you answer the above question please sir

Moisture content of flower and RH are independent from the perspective of meters.

A moisture meter implies nothing about RH and it won’t read RH, though you are correct that the drying and curing RH should be ~60%.

Ok I hope they get your order to you. I live in Cbus and got my most recent order in mid September so must be a recent FedEx issue or not affecting Cbus
