Is a moisture meter that is used for wood ok to use
For what purpose?
To check for drying of buds before curing
Ahh. I do not use for that but answers will be forthcoming soon.
Thank you !
@Oldguy @OGIncognito @Budbrother @Myfriendis410 here are a few tags for you. They will reach out farther.
New one on me. Carbon is Carbon imo. Ya might be onto something
Yes there are guides online if you search. Want to use a softwood setting and between 11-12% before curing. Tested on a nug i had in a jar. Sorry bad lighting.
This is the one I have. I leave at the default first setting.
The General Tools brand i saw a lot in the guides but i liked a pen version.
10% harsher smoke
11% perfect
12% still good but may not stay lit as long if that matter
14-15% still needs to dry
Thanks for the tag @Storm I’ve Seen other folks use them but I never picked one up.
Still go by feel. Lol.
That and a smoke test of a bud to see how well it burns and tastes.
Thank you for the info I appreciate it just what I needed to know
Yup. This feels… but $16 might make my list.
Thanks @Serf
At that price might make mine too.
And yes. Thanks @Serf
I use a moisture meter occasionally and stick the stem just behind the bud. I’m old school and still do the snap test and smoke a sample bud
Happy Cake day @Storm
Ty mam.
11% with the meter set to wood will give very close to 60-62 percent rh in a jar. I’ve went back to going by look and feel of buds and stems, it gets to be second nature after a while.
Happy Happy Brother Storm!
Thank you.
Thanks.
