Yes there are guides online if you search. Want to use a softwood setting and between 11-12% before curing. Tested on a nug i had in a jar. Sorry bad lighting.

This is the one I have. I leave at the default first setting.

The General Tools brand i saw a lot in the guides but i liked a pen version.

10% harsher smoke
11% perfect
12% still good but may not stay lit as long if that matter
14-15% still needs to dry

Thanks for the tag @Storm I’ve Seen other folks use them but I never picked one up.
Still go by feel. Lol.
That and a smoke test of a bud to see how well it burns and tastes.

I use a moisture meter occasionally and stick the stem just behind the bud. I’m old school and still do the snap test and smoke a sample bud :love_you_gesture:

11% with the meter set to wood will give very close to 60-62 percent rh in a jar. I’ve went back to going by look and feel of buds and stems, it gets to be second nature after a while.
