2 of 8 Plants Yellowing

I am growing 8 plants and 2 are starting to have leaves that are more yellow than the other 6. I’ve been treating them identically. The only difference is the 6 that are doing well are in Miracle Grow soil and the 2 yellow plants are in EB Stone Organic soil. Do you think it is perhaps pH or that the EB Stone plants need more ferilizer. I think from now on I’ll stick to MG, the price is right and I’ve had excellent results this year so far and a nice harverst last year too.

Miracle grow soil is very unfriendly to cannabis. It’s uncommon (not unheard of) to find success in growing with it. The slow release fertilizers usually cause problems long term, and flushing only makes it worse.

Miracle grow can work for the vegetative growth. You’ll be better off with blooming fertilizer for flower. Also make sure your using one for consumption.

LatenightGardner,

Thanks for your response. I am not concerned about the plants in MG as they are fine. My issue is with the plants in the other soil. Do you have any notion of what is causing the yellowing of the leaves?

Thanks, Jerry

Post some pictures. List your soil type, watering practices, nutrient feed rates. If it’s not enough info I’ll get a support ticket posted.

@jerrythesurfer do you have a ph pen and a ppm pen? Next watering read the runoff, could be the other soil is depleting it’s nutes faster than the MG. I’ve had a modicum of success with MG but an unfamiliar with the EB brand.
