Have 1 of the Covert UFO 150 lights I my tent now. I have had success growing autos but not great buds. Was thinking adding another UFO might be a good idea. On sale at Hydrobuilder for $139. Or should I step up and spend for 1 better light?

Can’t find much info on that light. If you can come up a little in price the hlg 135w rspec is all you’ll ever need in that space. Think the promo code “DUDE” still works and it’ll knock it down to around $180. These are tried and true lights. A lot of us here use these

Thanks @BobbyDigital, looks to be about the same watts as the UFO, thought I would need more watts to get better bud. Do you really think this would be a significant step up from the UFO?
It’s not necessarily about the wattage. It’s about the light output the wattage they use creates. You can raise the hlg 135 to around 170w. Your efficiency (lumens/watt) of the light starts to go down, though.
You can already see that 1 of those ufo lights is not enough if you’re looking to add another. Even though it states it’s covers a 3x3 area. You only need one 135 rspec for that area. I have grown in that same size tent with the hlg 135 with great results. I have since bought 4 more of them since I have a larger space now

I agree with @BobbyDigital, If you get the 135 your buds will be dense! You will not regret it!

Great little bright lights, I have like 4 or 5 of them as well and enough spare parts to make a few more. Love the interchangeable rspec and bspec boards that I can swap out in a few minutes for ultimate veg or flowering performance.
