Very good. Current grow wrapping up in a week or so. Looking forward to change from top watering.
Here’s my journal if interested.
@Myfriendis410 Im in week 2 of flowering. I just got my second 1000w Spider Farmer light and added it to my grow tent for better light distribution. I also added a second layer of netting to support the branches. I did some pruning but didn’t want to get crarried away and shock the plant. Do you think i should remove somemore fan leaves are leave ot alone?
You’ve defoliated enough IMO. Remember that you need leaves to produce sugars needed to make flower. If you remove too many you will reduce your yields.
I do a ‘major’ defol at plus 21 days in flower then only remove as needed for airflow. That includes stripping the bottom third of the plant completely and judicious removal of fans in the upper canopy.
How much actual light is on the plants? You do need around 35 watts per square foot of good LED’s to get decent flower.
I have two Spider Farmer 1000w tethered together in a 3x3 Grow Tent.
My light cycle is 18hrs on 6 hrs off.
DLI Readings range at current light settings: 40 - 55 across the top of the canopy.
If it were me I’d add another light. You are just below 25 watts per square foot now.
Those lights are only 100 watts each.
Im going to have to upgrade my lights for my next grow. I doubt i can fit another one in that space.
Thanks for all the advice everyone gave. I’m happy with the results so far… Closing out 3rd week of flowering.
Have a 3x3 with a SP G3000 in it does well but going to upgrade to a G5000 after this grow, have the 3000 sold when ready, just got a SP 2x4 tent it came with a SF2000 and bought a Sf 1000 to add next to it learned light is very important!
Watch marketplace for a good used light, there’s always a bunch
Am i having deficiency issues? Have you experienced this with your Jacks 321 recipe?
Do you add anything like a flowering boost to you rez during this stage?
In 4th week of flowering
Looks like normal fade to me. You could up your solution concentration to 1,100 to 1,200 ppm and watch for defs. Leaves will not recover so tough to know if you fixed the issue. Let it ride is my advice.
I do a modified program for the first three weeks at transition: instead of the 3-2-1 program I go to a 2-2-2-1.2 with the last ingredient being MKP (monopotassium phosphate). Then I resume the normal 3-2-1. Always add silica.
Have been running Jacks 321 through my auto pot 3gal spring pot with the 12 gal res. Run silica, fish sh!t, microbes, molasses, etc and never had a problem with clogging or anything.
Usually can mix enough to last 3 days and don’t worry about ph issues. I like to personally flush with a gallon of water between feedings to wash all the old stuff out and then top off again.
The system has handled 5-6 different brands of nutes in various forms and only found 1 that caused any problems in the past 3+ years.
Won’t bother looking up my usual number as the guys above have that more than handled.
How much molasses do you mix in?
I estimate about 1tsp/gal when I feed microbes every other weekend feeding.
It’s honestly been years sense I looked up how much you’re supposed to use that I don’t remember, just eyeball/guesstimate when I use it.
Update on my 1st Autopot grow. Thanks for the solid advice given during this grow. She’s a Runtz Auto ILMG
She looks like we have 1-2 weeks left. We’re in week 7 of flowering.
juicy …Nice looking! It’s coming for sure!
