Good Morning . Your buds are beautiful but I do believe you have a couple more weeks to go. There are a lot of white hairs there.:v:

Good morning and what pretty plant!! I highly recommend a digital scope to view the trichomes, don’t harvest too early.

Nice pics! I see too many white pistils as well. Since peak potency comes just before your first amber trichomes on buds, I like to get 10% or so amber. Clear trichomes= not at peak potency yet. This may help:

Definitely trying to avoid harvesting too soon. I’ve invested in a Loupe and another scope, but still not seeing as much detail as I would like. Do you have a suggestion on a brand and type of digital scope. Amazon has hundreds to choose from, so im looking for a recommendation.

I don’t have a digital. I use a tube scope that I have for lead hardness testing. I also have a jewelers loop and a magnifier that attaches to my iPhone or iPad for pics. The pics are hard to do well due to lighting. Light overexposure makes clear trichomes look white. So taking photos of spherical glossy objects is not easy. You have to get the light just right and everything needs to be completely still.

Most all your pistils will turn rusty and curly before it’s go time. Don’t get me wrong go time is not OMG got to go quick. No, it takes several days for each phase to happen. Go time, in my book is just the beginning of the harvest window.

@DJSOUL reading trichomes should be done in the context of the whole plant. You’ll see amber on the sugar leaves early on but you want to wait for this bud trichomes to start turning.
