1st time growing, may need help here and there

I’m not sure about exact power but I have been upping it every so often.

I would go ahead and turn it up all the way, dont move it down, just turn it on full power.

I have a feeling that when you go to lower your light to 12" the sides all around your canopy are gonna suffer from such a small amount of light

Is it a good idea to water when my plants are in the night cycle?

Actually you would want to water your plants at the beginning of their day, that way they get it while they are up and around doing their photosynthesis thing rather than at night while they sleep.

My plants night cycle is actually during the day. Should I change it to act accordingly to my day?

So you would just feed in the evening time, or whenever their day starts

That’s what I do, so when I water my day cycle should just be starting right

Yes sir.

Plants look good. Watch that nitrogen, they look like they have quite a bit of it

I’m still confused on light height, for my plants to get taller shouldn’t I increase the height of my lights?

Yes that can help some as far as node spacing goes. But it may just be the strain or pheno. My wwa were very short and stocky plants

What’s up guys, here’s an update on my plants. Amnesia Haze is the first plant been in flowering for 5 week, lower tips are turning brown, is that because lack of watering? Should I water more when plants are this far into flowering?

2nd plant is Northern Lights been in flowering for 2 weeks.

3rd plant is a cookie strain and this one has took a minute to start flowering, only been in flowering for 1 week.

Is it normal for my carbon filter to cover to brown?

You’re drawing all your air through the filter as well as dust and dirt. It’s normal for the cover to get dirty. How old is your filter? I got 2 grows out of mine. Midway through the 3rd grow my house reeked before I replaced the filter.

Only about 2 months old, I started using in late veg

And should I leave it on at night?

I run mine 24/7. Think of it this way. Your white prefilter/cover is stopping that dirt from getting into your filter and shortening it’s life.

Just remove the pre filter from it and rinse it real good in the tub let it dry out and reinstall it.
Are you using a humidifier and hard water?

The pre filter can last a long time but the carbon filter does eventually lose its absorption ability over time.

The dirty pre filter also restricts airflow so won’t have as much flow for cooling and air exchange
