I dont do the whole step up pot size as you go. I go from solo cups to 5gal grow bags so I’m not real sure when you should transplant up to a 5 gallon
Can I keep them in 2 gal for the whole grow? I didn’t wanna go too big because this is my first grow. And since I water at a pH of 6.6-6.5 my run off should be like 5.6 right?
I mean sure you could I guess. You shouldn’t veg long if you plan on staying in a 2 gal. Otherwise your plants may become root bound
No on the ph. You want your ph going in to be relatively close to what’s coming out. 6.5 to 5.6 is a huge change.
Ok I’m watering again on Tuesday. What range should I look for and what will the readings tell me about my yellow leaves
For soil you want to stay around 6.3 to 6.8
You can push your plant from veg to flowering yourself? And if my soil doesn’t read those numbers, I should just raise my pH water correct?

Well…I guess you can either ride it out, and take the chance of the roots running out of space, or you could go ahead and up the pot size to a 5 gal which also, could stunt the plant.
When starting harvest how far should my lights be and do I let all of my LST work just be?

I left all of my LST on the plants until their flowering stretch was over. Then after they stopped growing, I took it off

In flower you want to end up being at around 12" at full power.
What I did was turn my drivers up a little every few days and I let my plants stretch up to 12" away on their own. Once your light is at full power, just maintain 12"
