1st time growing looking for some insight, tips and advice

Have a indoor grow space 5 by 5.5 only 4 by 4.5 is useable due to shelving… I currently have a seedling going it’s been about 2 weeks since it sprouted. And plan on adding in 3-4 more plants…

I’m using Coast of Maine growers mix I plan on starting my next plants in 3 gal fabric pots.
I have a humidifier in the room and fan. temp is usually around 72-75 and rh 60-70…

Thinking about getting a SF4000 for my light. Rn I have a 2 30 watts grow lights on my seedling until I get a real grow light… Any recommendations would be great!

For nutes I only have worm castings rn. I only fed my pant once since it sprouted. I want to stay completely organic but exactly sure what to look for in picking my nutes. So I could use some advice on why exactly I should be looking for. Also a brief explanation of the numbers on the food and what would be to high or too low would be helpful

Btw the seed was not from ilgm but the next ones will be still deciding on either blue cheese or Cali dream

I used Dr. Earth dry amendments first organic indoor and outdoor grows. Using Earthdust now.

I wouldn’t waste any time getting a better light as small as they are the leaves are reaching up a sign they want more light.

Many use Jack’s 321 dry amendment. Longer shelf life. Cheap. Use the same amount start to finish. Something to think about.

I use dr earth on all my grows feeding 2tablespoons per gallon every 3weeks water with a tea and it does a great for me.

Nice… I was thinking of doing a tea too and im going too look in too DR Earth I see it all the time

Yea i felt like they were that why I grabbed the other 30 watt

I use worm castings bat guano volcanic rock dust fertilizer and superworm frass and kelp meal and alfalfa meal fish bone meal and sea bird guano

Check out mr Canucks grow on YouTube he grows organic and is very detailed in his explanations

Move out of the clay pot.

Personally not a fan of Mr cancuk but if you want to grow his method then YouTube would be where you go for help, no one here really grows that way. But then again we arnt getting paid to pump up a nutrient company.

I watch him… He’s a big reason why I wants to grow organic but the giaia greens is hard to find unless I get the big100 something dollar bag and I don’t wanna spend all on 1 bag of nutes

@LilTys you can do the exact same thing mr.Canucks do with a different line of dry amendments that works exactly the same , it’s not Gaia green but does the exact same thing.
Look up "All Natural Fertilizer line " and just follow a simple N.P.K and you’ll get the same results .

So I walked into my plant looking like this, this morning any clue on what happened (also I repotted it in a 3 gal mesh pot with new soil once I seen this but forgot to take pictures)

Yes your right i asked him (mr.cunuck)what was best cause i couldn’t get gia green and he told me down to earth and dr. Earth. At the time dr earth was cheaper and i was working on layoff money due to covid so i went the cheaper route but it all the same prety much in doing down to earth after i run out of what i got now.

I see some clawing which usually mean to much nutrients but the first picture is clawing and fading at the same time your leaves arent that dark and shinie on either plant so i really cant say for sure but. It looks like to much nitrogen last 2 pics

Yea I added some worm castings the night before I’m thinking that what it is… but I repotted it and I’ll add pics when I get home

What was the ph and ppm of the dirt and the water you used to water the plant :potted_plant:, worm casting would if help it more not make it bad ? You done something or you did not do a ph or slurry test?
