1st grow question (Includes pictures)

In a couple days it will be exactly 4 weeks so far. I started out with 5 plants, but now down to 2. The first 2 died because I was a week late in adding the nutrients (I misunderstood what “true leaves” meant). The other I removed due to it being too small. These are the last 2 left. I was planning to go into flowering stage here in a couple days, but wanted to reach out before I did. They just seem pretty small to me still, and thought they would’ve been fuller and bigger by now… This could be normal, or it could be due to the nutrient mistake I made at the beginning. Hopefully these pictures are clear enough. It’s the best I could do with the led lighting. Thank you in advance!

Not sure how to go about doing that or anything. I’m more of a forum type of guy. Just throwing a question out there, seeing if any experienced grower out there has any response or advice to my question. Thank you though.

@Dravin the first thing one of the pros will say is fill out a support ticket.

This is my SSH at 4 weeks:

And here it is as of two days ago, one week into flower:

What size is your reservoir?

Biggest thing to check is your pH.
5.8 is ideal for hydro.
Do you have a meter?

Merry Christmas @Bogleg! That girl looks gorgeous!

That I don’t know. I’m going to be picking up a meter here in a couple days.

It’s 1 gallon.

Gotcha. Picking one up in a couple days.

If the ph level is within range, at this current size, should I leave it in veg a week or 2 longer before going into flower, or should it be fine to go into flower still?

Do so because by controlling the pH level you control her life .
For hydro and soilless medium you need to keep it in 5.5-5.8 range… Good luck :crossed_fingers: tabla-rango-PH-tierra-e-hydro-1

Thanks for the info!

I would not flower those plants yet. The plant controls the calendar, not the other way around. Do get a handle on your PH and hopefully the hydro guys will see your post and chime in.

I flipped the photo period on my Northern Lights plant at 21" soil to tip. It stretched to 44" soil to tip of central cola which was good because it would have been very difficult to raise my light any more. You might want to make some measurements of your tent and see how tall you can let it get before you change to flower. Or maybe add a SCROG screen to control the height.

With your grow box is there any way to switch to a bigger reservoir?

If I recall RX has a different suggested ph? in it’s schedule?

It is an odd exception to our usual rules in how it chelates and it actually performs well at low ph ranges I would have to research threads more but most who have used it found it worked pretty good as directed and it actually states don’t adjust ph unless it gets lower than 3 higher than 6
