@fano_man when should I stop the lst?

When you run out of room. Lol. The more you can get done the better it will be.

Neveeerrrrr lol until ur root bound transplant then flower

Looks good!

Life is good is seems… be puffing home grown before you can roll a blunt!! :sunglasses::+1:

So I have a light question… my girls(autos) are on an 18/6 light schedule… I have read so many different things… should I adjust that at all or let it go like that through flowering??? @HornHead @dbrn32 @Myfriendis410 @Painfree @Witchhouse @PurpNGold74

Autos I’m assuming? I run mine 12/12 with great results. And a cheaper electric bill

@HornHead I understand the electric bill but everything I have read says you can even run 24hr through whole grow. Does it make a huge difference? Thanks for the chat.

This is the way I look at it. Sure, I can work a 24 hour day here and there. But give me time to rest and I’ll come back the next day ready to kick a$$ plants and humans ain’t that much different

I run 15/9. No real reason other than I didn’t have my glasses on and never changed to anything else.

^^^^^ too funny…well there you have it…I wouldn’t recommend 24 hrs neither. Your regular ol 18 hr day should do the trick

Running longer schedule just allows you to provide more energy to the auto plants. If your light is sized properly for your space there wouldn’t really be much advantage to doing so under normal conditions. They will continue to photosynthesize as long as they receive light energy, up to the light saturation point. Running light longer is just a way to get near the light saturation point with a weaker light.

Cannabis plants are of c3 variety, so contrary to popular belief, they don’t actually need a dark period if vegging or strong enough rudarelis gene exists. Some people choose to argue this by saying they can actually see the plants grow over dark periods. They’re not actually seeing plants grow, its natural reaction of the plants to shading or lack of light that elongates internodal spacing. You can see exact same reactions in plants that have way underpowered lights on for 24 hours or lights dominant in wavelengths that trigger phytochrome reaction.

In summary, flowering autos under long light schedule makes more sense for some than others. If you have high enough light density you wouldn’t really make as much sense to run your light longer. If you have low light density, that may justify running it longer.

So today is week 6 day 3. Girls are thriving. My mrs. Really has a knack for this lol.

I have a few questions that I will list so I dont ramble.

When do I know when it’s in flowering?

Do I use bloom nutes? If yes when and for how long?

Why does one plant seem lighter in color than the rest?

Any other advice is also welcome.

Thank you all for your help you guys makes this way less stressful!

When u see pistils, she is transitioning to flower. Growing autos? I start counting when they ‘crown’

During transition ur schedule should have a section where they turn down grow and start adding bloom.

Diff strains look diff growing. Heck even the same strain shows phenotypes. Like ur bro may have green eyes and u and ur sis have blue…

Got pics?

@PurpNGold74 yeah I can get pictures later this evening after kids go to bed.

Yes I am growing GSCX autos. I haven’t been giving nutes cause I transplanted into FFOF from crap MG soil. Stunted them but I didn’t transplant one that was really sickly looking and she is the biggest one I got! Lol

The nutes I have are the FF Trio big bloom. Tiger bloom. And grow big.

No nutes. I would not add anything except water unless the plant tells you differently. FFOF should carry you a long way in flower.

Exactly what he said. Wait for deficiencies to show first. Then pounce. Or keep monitor of ppms of runoff
