1st grow. 1st journal, all advice welcome!

You transplantd from time release soil to FFOF. So as of now? Nope. Calmag every 2nd or 3rd watering until flower.

How tall is the tent? And u plan on topping?

Also strains btw?

Damn LoCo n MaxPain… on point with the point

Hey I forget about that low pH problem you had. Did you happen to get a run off reading & you were pH’n @ 6.5 If I saw that correctly?

@PurpNGold74 tent is 32x32x62. I know I have to many plants. Next time i am only going to do 2 or 3? I was a greedy newbie. Lol the strain is GSCX. Topping scares me also lol. (They are autos)

@LoCoRock yes my ph is real good now that the are in ffof.

What’s your guys thoughts on topping? We did some defoliation tonight to get more light through them. My wife is doing the LST now cause I “am to heavy handed” lol

If you are that far along and they are autos I would hold off on topping. That’s just me, I’m pretty sure topping of an auto should be done (if you choose to) within the 1st month! There’s so many philosophys with autos. I actually just dropped 2 Northern Light auto beans in the water yesterday. This will be my 1st grow ever with autos & I think I’m gonna try and top one just to compare and judge for myself. You hear things all the time but there’s no better way to judge then doing it yourself.

What causes burnt tips?

BURNT tips is too much fertilizer …if you’ve overdososed nutes you’ll need to do a flush…2 to 3 times the size of your container in water…

Usually its like LoCo said. Too much Nitrogen ferts.

From.the cal.mag possibly? That’s the only thing I have given.

And how does flushing work? Wont that overwater them? I am just asking ti again knowledge.

@LoCoRock @PurpNGold74

Got a pic of ur calmag bottle? And lets see these burnt tips as well. Also what kinda soil u in?

Ya I’m out… just wanted to answer your question real quick…I gutta go hunt for some gas…it’s getting frig’n crazy here…:v:

Good lock and stay safe

Flushing is when you add water (usually 3-5x as much as the pot size) to reset ur soil’s ph or ppm. So if u have 3 gall pots u use 15 galls of water. If ur ph is too low @ 5.7 u use ph’d water around 6.8 until ur runoffs are in range. Or if ur ppms are too high u flush her with low ppm water until ur runoff ppms drop.

But u maynot be at that level. Thats why i asked for a photo

@PurpNGold74 sorry been busy with a sick kid past couple days I fi ally got around to getting some pics.

Very nice…you can remove them yellow or dead leaves… anything with 50% damage or more…

I wouldn’t flush with fresh ocean forest it causes alot of nitrogen to be available I just did this and got clawing like crazy but ph was a lil off prior but still once I got it right they were like ahhhhhh to much N after the flush and I didn’t go back in with any nutes just PhD water

They look alot better just stick to cal mag every other water don’t top there autos in preflower full loose alot of yield just water and cal mag for 3 weeks until u notice lil yellowing then start your bloom nutes

Whut up Fano… bro Bahamas is going to get wiped off the map
