They appear mostly on a few older leaves and don’t wash off. Dreaded spider mites? Thrips?
First time grower, first day of flower and I notice this. Want to make sure our baby’s prognosis is good.
Thanks to all who respond!

Any pests visible on the bottom side?
Spider mites are so small you will need a magnifier to see them.
White flies will suck the bottom side and do that too.
Take a close look on the back side of the leaves with your jeweler’s loop. You may see some critters or eggs. Look close to the vein.
It looks like @Spiney_norman beat me to it. Excellent!
Lol @merlin44,
we have done this before…posting the same thing within seconds.
Indeed, stoned minds think alike LOL (old joke but I am an old guy)
Just took a very close look at the underside(s) with a good magnifying glass. Saw one critter, the smallest, tiniest little brown thing that I instantly killed.
Damn.
So far, the damage appears very limited. What is the best, most widely-accepted course of treatment?
I use Captain Jack’s…I think mixing hydrogen peroxide 50-50 with water can be sprayed to kill them in some cases. @Covertgrower and @Myfriendis410 are excellent resources for pest eradication.
If you found one or a few, that means you have many more.
I also use Jacks. Excellent product. Merlin brings up a good point, if you see one there’s usually more.
Captain jacks, spray tops and bottoms of leaves every 3 days. Mites must be bad this year. Ive seen alot more posts about them and i even had them for the first time.
