Yield per plant

From a fellow grower, who is growing White Widow autoflower: When you state that the yield is “4 to 6 oz per 3x3ft”, what exactly does that mean? Is that per plant?

Good question, personally to me it means if I take one plant and It reaches 3 by 3 in size. And I Do everything right from seedling to harvest an plant gets the right amount of NPK , right amount of light . The Breeders guide is a estimate of 4 to 6. Oz. Just my thoughts. Good luck.

Under the best conditions, with the best lighting, proper nutrients, proper PH, all at the right time, that’s what it’s capable of.

Due to individual growing styles, and different conditions, your grow may vary.
We would love to have you on the forum to guide you through the grow process.

Lighting is the single most under valued and under rated part of the grow.

Happy growing. :seedling:

Or 3 smaller plants (or even 9 SOG plants) that in total fill a 3’x3’ space.

From what I have learned you can fill a 3x3 with one plant if your technic is good. LST ing can fill a 2x4 easily with one plant.

This is only my 2nd attempt at LST and not the best at it yet but none the less this 2x4 tent is all but full, at least it touching all four sides. When I actually get it all figured out I’ll be dangerious.

I just read, read, read. Dont always understand what I’m reading as I have no experience growing anything. Last thing I grew (before trying pot) was a wedge of potato in 4th grade I think. So I read and hit utube and try to find a video that shows “whatever” being done so I have an idea how to do it. If not for you guys I’d be totally lost. So this buds for you!

Bud from last grow. Looked real good but weak in thc, I picked too early (another lesson learned).

Here is a 4x4 filled with just one plant. That is all it’s about…3x3 is close to 1 square meter.

This is my GSC when she was small.

Approximate yeild for that area. Of course, if its a regular seed and non auto, the game changes a bit. I can extend my veg and prune for effect, totally stuff that 3x3 space with buds in scrog net and potentially do much better. So I think that its an average based on what most guys and gals get using common practices.

I admit I get a little giddy when I look at her. 3rd grow, 1st with higher end seeds so I looking for some good smoke this time. Previous 2 grows were tests if I could even grow anything and to work out bugs (no pun intended) in my grow. This grow Is the final test to see if I’ve learned enough to make it pay for itself. This grow will determine where I go from here. Dont need a lot of yeald for just my wife and myself. Hoping at least 4 plus ounces per plant and with that twice a year and i will have all i want.

Those yoyo’s are so easy to use and move as needed. They just make spreading her out as easy as pie. Then later they can be relocated to support the branches as they start to bend over with weight. Damn simple to use.

Are those white widow autos? If not it doesn’t really apply…

White widow extreme Feminized. Photo. Not sure what you mean Nicky ???

The support ticket wants to know about how much a white widow auto is going to grow because it was confusing how ilgm listed its yield and instead people are showing SCOG nets of filling tents with a single plant on a photo plant.

It’s not helping the support ticket I believe.
I think @Covertgrower gave a good reply but aside from that the only real thing to add is that you can maybe expect to start at 2oz if your a first time grower in soil and you could produce much much more if you have a great grow in coco/hydro (coco/hydro will grow bigger plants faster)

This was the question, which has been properly answered above. It doesn’t matter what the strain is, or if it is photoperiod or autoflower.

When you state that the yield is “4 to 6 oz per 3x3ft”, what exactly does that mean? Is that per plant?

I can fill a 4x4 with one plant
