hi to everyone,
this is my first grow and first topic here and thanks to the admin for accepting me.
My problem: i have searched through the lot of forums for related issue and i received different answers but i didnt resolve anything
The leaves on this plant started to yellow at the end second week of vegetation before i transplanted it.
Here’s information about the plant:
og kush auto (dinafem) :

18 days old plant
box: 23" x 19"- x 62"
light: dual spectrum cfl 300w
distance from light 5"

passive intake airflow 11" x 11"
plant height 6"
soil & temp: i posted a photos
watering twice a week, when cup is light or soil well dried

on the second plant cheese by dinafem

i notice that lower leaves also started yellowing too but this plant seems growing better.

Plants are in the same box.

i have alga grow by PLAGRON nutrient but now im afraid to give them anything
Any advice?

i know that this question has been asked many times but maybe you can help me
I thank you in advance for every answer and sorry if I made a mistake asking this

thanks for replay

soil ingredients

i have GHE test kit to check water PH, a drops sistem or color sistem

I didnt feed them with any nutrient at all, only water

I never checked soil ph, how to do that?

So what you have there is a soil less mix with fertilizer

If you look at the left side of the pH chart for soil less. A pH of 6 doesn’t allow absorption of nutrients such as calcium and manganes

Several ways to check soil pH. 2 cups of 6.5 pH water add a spoonful of your mix and then check the pH. Or when you water let some run out the bottom and collect it and test it.

Look those up on the excesses and defficiencies chart and let’s see if those look familiar.

I can’t stress enough how important proper pH is. You’d have less headache if you bought a digital meter

Also your soil mix contains fertilizer already so your are actually giving nutes.

thanks bob31
so, i need to adjust soil ph and add some cal/mag additive, right?

If you dial in your pH you may not need the cal-mag but the cal-mag would help till you get the pH nailed.

I’d recommend doing the mix into water pH test to see if you don’t show it bring 5.8 ish right out of the bag.

@Ivan2309 keep me posted on how you’re doing!

Welcome @Ivan2309 @bob31 seems to have you covered but definitely get that ph up I wouldn’t add anything except ph water until you get soil ph up to at least 6.5
6 is low and will lock out nute up take
If your in soil if coco your high

And brother I’m glad you joined here at ilgm. Growing MJ is almost as good as consuming it. If you need help just throw @ in front of any username and it tags us back to your post.

great…thanks for wellcoming me!

I will certainly continue to write and inform you!
I also think ph is a problem and i already did as you told me.
I did not drop down ph of water but I just added alga grow so much that ph drops about 6
I definitely have to buy a digital ph tester

You should get one asap it almost as important as having seeds lmao
Ph is the most important thing to watch imo
So many issues start with improper ph levels
In soil 6.5 is the sweet spot but anything in between 6.3-6.8 is acceptable
I try to stay at 6.5- 6.7 my self
Happy growing and tag us should you need anything bro :v::cowboy_hat_face: CB

After bob31 and Countryboyjvd1971 consulting me about ph problem, things already go much better after I set ph to 6.
The yellowed leaves began to be greener, plants are healthier, especially auto og-kush i had a problem with: yellowing leaves
