Yellow leaves, auto, organic, coco

Hey everyone,

I am growing 3 different strains (cheese, banana kush, gelato) from ILGM in a 3X3. Growing in 5 gal fabric, medium is coco, nutes are organic (Gaia).
PHing my water to 6.3.

35 days since sprout. I top fed 5 days ago with the Gaia (70% 4/4/4 and 30% 2/8/4 1 Tbsp/gal of pot size) also spread some worm castings in the same amount the next day.

So the cheese and gelato are well into flower but the kush is taking her time. But a couple of days ago I have some yellowing of some leaves. Does this look like a Nute or PH problem? or is this just part of maturing? I read a lot and this seems a bit unclear to me.

Thanks for any advice!

Even though you are in coco, you are using organic nutes which should be treated as soil ph. It looks like you are in early flower which means a 6.3 ph is too low. Im betting that if you check your runoffs your ph will be bottomed out. Raise your ph in to 7.2 to get your ph up. I also see a bit of excess nitrogen but that could be ph related also. Corre t me if im wrong @OGIncognito

Appreciate the tag Brother, coco PH range (5.8-6.2) would stay the same…soilless hydro :love_you_gesture:

I should be watering with a ph of 5.8 to 6.2?

For coco yes, and don’t let the coco dry out. If you’re top dressing organic amendments keep the coco damp :love_you_gesture:

I would recommend watering to run off checking the PPMs and PH periodically :love_you_gesture:

Thank you. I will do that.

What is the ideal range or runoff pH and TDS? Is there a chart for organic coco grows?

Mediums like coco and hydro have a range of 5.8-6.2 with a PPM range of 800-1000. I don’t use organic top dressing nutrients or seen a chart for this but @DB_Cooper may be able to help, pretty sure he uses dry top dressing amendments?? :love_you_gesture:

If I can pick your brain, are there other sources for micro nutrients I should be using in coco? Right now, I only use worm castings.

This will supply a small amount of nitrogen a macro nutrient. You’re using Gaja 4-4-4?? Post a pic of the back of the bag, most nutrient brands cover micro and macro nutrients :love_you_gesture:

I read up the thread, I would recommend staying with the 4-4-4 during veg and switching over to the 2-8-4 during flower. There’s microbial amendments you can add to aid in nutrient uptake by the roots. I use TPS Billions once a week for this :love_you_gesture:

Thank you for the help. I looked at the website and it seems like the billions is a completely organic product! That’s cool.
