Yellow tips and spindly new growth no till

Hey growers I’m having a little issue my new growth it has some yellowing on one plant and it’s Spindly on a few others can anyone give me a few tips. FYI I’m under a hps for a day or 2 until my mh come in my bulb blew and needed to replace it so I sub a hps.

Does the clover ground cover help?

It’s helps keep soil moist longer and it put nutrients back into the grounds. Not sure if it helps for pest yet though

I was aware they were a good source of nitrogen. But was more curious about pests
