First you should have had them on 20/4 that’s why they are slow. Flipping to 12/12 will speed up flower but not necessary with autos and less light will equal less yield.
I run autos on 18/6 and even 6/2 with no issues. If you have proper lighting 18 is more then enough time. The plants need their rest and a break from the lights. I would be comfortable running 12/12 in flower with my autos.
The plant we are discussing is 11 weeks into veg and to force it into flower 12/12 would be needed. Every photo grower runs 12/12 in flower and doesn’t effect yield. It’s all about high quality lights and the plants getting the light needed to have fat dense buds.
No sir, if it’s an auto it doesn’t veg 11 weeks. Less hrs equal less yield with autos, start some outdoor end of August and even though it has" enough" light hrs it will be considerably smaller than one started mid summer.

Usually I wouldn’t respond to this but here we go. Did you read the thread above? You should get yourself familiar as I even tried to specify in my last post. No autos do not veg for 11 weeks but that is what they were supposed to be. Still got me here. Like I stated above high quality lights nothing about the sun and growing out doors. Any logical grower would know that the sun is less powerful in the states atleast at the end of the summer as the angle changes and we get less daylight. They might start to preflower around three weeks but usually not full blown flower. Most find an auto will veg for about four weeks.

Ok I’m with cap cola here. Every auto I’ve grown but one 1 flowers after or close to 4 weeks 28 to 35 days and they should start flowering on their own. Had massive issues with 1 that stalled it bad didn’t flower for 2 months but it was all due to user error bad soil to start. Almost killed the little booger but pulled it thru. 11 weeks vegging is making me believe u have photo seeds on accident or something. I’d flip it asap or u r gonna have massive space issues. Lol. All my autos grow on 18 6 schedule usually get between 4 and 5 feet tall between 3 to 5 oz from each plant usually. Some do differ. Like zkittlez autos r stretchers and they got 6 to 7feet tall lol. Tall but super stretchy
The GG4 i have been cloning 2 years was supposed to be an auto. After10 weeks or so i flipped her. Best GG i have ever grown.
Yikes! That will be too tall for these. Gonna keep the lights lower so the buds will tighten up. Thanks for the reminder.
6/2? That’s interesting, does there seem to be any benefit to that when it comes to yield or just another option with autos?
This is the first time I am doing it. It would probably take a few runs to tell if there is a difference. Seemed interesting

It’s been several days since I flipped. They’ve stretched 2” & I found a 3rd girl (WW) that has stretched & finally has pistols from the girls that are 3 weeks behind these.
I lollipopped all 6 in this grow. And lightly defoliate the 3rd girl. 1 still has not put out pistols.
@Kozmoz I’ve had pistols on 3 week old plants that were still vegging. There are no bud sites, yet!

There they are. It takes a few days but they should all start to show. @PRSTICKY you are correct with autos you have flexibility. In this case the plant wouldn’t flower on its own. To force it to flower you go to a 12/12 cycle.
I’ve gotta say I’m loving these autos like you! @Capt.Cola This grow was sooo easy. I didn’t have to ph my water which is a blessing. I’m fftrio, ffof, epsom salt, cal/mag & recharge.
