WW Autoflower question

My white Widow autoflower is about 28 days old and it looks like it’s starting to flower in my opinion. This is my first one so I’m not sure. Here’s a few pics.

Yes, she’s flowering.

Is this in the right timeframe? This plant is still tiny.
Adding edit here… I still need to move her to a larger pot. Should I do that right now? Was really hoping it would veg longer.

28 days is pretty typical for an auto, but they can flower anytime they’re ready to.

Oh, she needs transplanting? What size is her pot now? I would try not to transplant her, autos don’t like it.

It’s in a one gallon right now. I wanted to put it in a 3 gallon pot. I have everything ready to go.

I see, normally, you wouldn’t transplant an auto, but if you can be very careful in the process, then go ahead and do it now.

But before you do, I’d like to get another opinion from someone who grows autos, like @blackthumbbetty.

shes a bit small for 28 days, but check your setup before your next grow. she may be able to put on more size before flower next time

I’m so nervous about doing anything to stunt them, myself, so…if you’re willing to sacrifice your one gallon fabric pot, you could cut it down both sides & GENTLY peel it away from your moist soil/root ball, then gently place your girl into her already prepped new home.

She’s actually fairly along in flowering, with her thistle looking buds, not just pistils, so at this point it will be a gamble to transplant, but it’d be a gamble to leave it in a one gallon pot, too.

You could also cut out the bottom of the 1 gallon & stick it on top of the 3 gallon pot, which you would only fill about 3/4 full with soil. It can be a bit clunky, but people do it. I have never done this, but others seem to have success.

I appreciate your message. I will cut the bottom off and put it in a 3 gallon pot. That’s a super idea. As of right now I can’t see any roots peaking through the bottom of the 1 gallon pot. So that makes sense to me.
Thanks for helping me with my plant.

@blackthumbbetty Here’s my double decker pots. I just cut the bottom off of the gallon pot. I would have taken some off the side but I couldn’t see disturbing any more of the roots.

Excellent! That bottom pot made a good foundation for the top one.

Let that top one dry out a bit, then start watering the bottom one more, to encourage the roots to grow down into the new pot in search of water.
