That 8x8 is going to take 4 times the light needed for a 4x4 area. Or 30-40 times the 64 sqft in an 8x8.
I’m using two 480w HYPHOTONFLUX HPF4000’s in my 4x8 with additional 4x100w LED deep reds and 1 100w UV.

Yeah, I was trying to mentor a lady where I work, she was getting overwhelmed with information quickly. I did convince her to buy a HLG light and to start reading the forums. She hasn’t given up yet, she still hasn’t started her first grow yet.

100 V2- This fixture produces 220 PPF, Equivalent to 220W T5 or 300W CFL output or 200W metal halide.

I see all sorts of used grow equipment on Craigslist and Facebook. I’ve picked up fans for 1/3 price, and if I see a 3x3 for cheap, might get a tent just for vegging!

Me, simply reading about VDP and the doom that’s sure to ensue when it’s not right. I just had to get growing. I still don’t tent or use a humidifier or even a PH pen, I’ve found out how to grow really lazily. Sometimes my plants’ leaves get a little wavy from dry air! 
But I happily go on enjoying my green babies and growing dank weed. I’m careful to not show my hygrometers in plant pics, I don’t need no 
. Kidding on that last part, forum members are pretty cool … or, maybe I’ll find out right about now … ahhhh, kidding again. I love you guys … for now.

i hate to pick low hanging fruit…but its right there haha. on facebook market change your location to a state like Oklahoma who is getting hit hard and some pretty good deals. tons of over supply and shops closing. then ask if they ship
dude i am there with you. i have been doing alot and then i neglected the plants because i focused on grow enviroment inside of the plants themselves lol . i blame it being my first grow

Won’t get any from me! I don’t test my water (only getting a pen this Christmas, so I will start), I don’t water to run-off (don’t even have drip pans under my pots), and figure the tent environment is what it is! I have added a small heater to keep the temps up and turned my fan/filter down to 1 to minimize the cold air being brought into the tent, but my humidity is all over the place. Yet they grow!
