Won’t be able to keep light out while flowering

Just starting today the light intensity have to be 100 percent I have I believe a 280 watts. By ac infinity it gets extremely hot what level should my exhaust fan be during flowing?

If I decide to take what I’m growing and put it outside would the neighbors smell it it’s legal where I live but don’t want no thieves plotting on me

The tent just get to hot at night if I don’t open the sides maybe I can put another fan in there or move a fan higher but I expect mold how hot my tent get if I don’t vent properly during flowering didn’t want to run my exhaust 24 7

The exhaust fan should run at a level that maintains the desired temp and humidity in your tent.

Personally, I target 50% humidity (as a general rule) and upper 70’s f for temps. If that means my fan is on low, great…if it means it’s running on max great…it just kinda is what it is.

For my 5x5 tents my intake fans tend to run on low, and my exhaust fans tend to run close to max. I like to create a little negative pressure so the tent walls suck in just a little…that way I know all the stale air in the tent is moving toward the top of the tent to be exhausted at some point.

Good that it’s legal  I wouldn’t recommend anyone break any laws in their jurisdiction!

Potency of aroma varies widely by strain and how big and happy the plants are. Let me tell you however, if they are big and happy the smell can carry VERY far! Not sure if your desired outdoor location is stealthy?

I have 10 plants growing in a dedicated building on the back part of my property (I am allowed 12 as a registered medical user in my state). The building is a sealed and controlled environment meaning there’s no fan actively extracting air to the outside. Even in that environment smell escapes [through door jams etc] to the point that I can smell it hundreds of meters away down at the street in front of my house. If I run a my carbon filter I obviously don’t have that issue, but you can still start to smell them about 25 feet away from the building lol.

my intake fan, exhaust fan, and 6 general air movement fans inside the tent run 24/7.

Are you exhausting the hot air from the tent into the same room that supplies the intake air to the tent? If so, you may want to consider exhausting the air into an adjacent room so the ambient temp in your tents room doesn’t incrementally increase throughout the day due to the heat of the exhaust.

Mine do, as well.
Tent cubic volume (4x4x6.5=104cuft).
Exchange tent volume air once/min= T6 step 2

Vent to lung room for retaining heat.
Vent outside for cooling.
Legal (always) smell not an issue.
