I planted five autoflower seeds from ILGM 32 days ago. Four of the plants are forming good buds. One plant is super bushy though and has no buds or pistils at all and I am starting to think maybe I got a photoperiod seed and wondering what I should do next. Will switching to a 12/12 light cycle for this one plant mess up the rest of my autoflowers? Should I fold and order another light/tent just for this one plant?
Autos don’t care what light cycle they’re on. You can run 12/12 no problem.
Thank you. I know they don’t care about the light cycle but I read somewhere that the 12/12 could reduce my yield on my autos since there would be less light.
A flowering plant is a flowering plant regardless of being an auto or photo. If you have good lights, you can give any plant what it needs in 12 hrs.

If might be an autoflower that is just doing it’s own thing. If you can remove the offending plant from the grow space and leave it in the dark 24-36 hours you may be able to “jump start it” into flowering without changing light cycle. Just a thought…
