Thanks @boardsbird maybe I’ll get lucky n see it one of these times
That’s the new price.
I’ll keep an eye out for good deals, I’m in contact with 3 of 4 Chinese LED manufacturer’s , sometimes they toss me a bone
@HornHead You were right, it’s like you can see them getting bigger : ) I can’t believe it took 59 years for me to find a hobby. Took this picture this morning, I can’t believe how many flowers and buds are forming. I used the scrog method with the main stems of the Sativas on the right, there are many shoots coming off of them. Some are growing up the side of the tent, they are not blocking any light so I just let them grow. The Indicas on the left also seem to be very happy, the one in the front was scrogged a little , main branch and one large shoot. They are making buds like you read about. The buds are growing right into the corners of the tent. The Indica in the back also has buds all over it. I
really think I have to give a lot of the credit to the 1500w TRIPLE LED light. And the great advice I have gotten from all of you people. Thanks again. Those are nothing, wait till they are ready
Patience is the hardest nutrient to provide your plants - Plato. (Sounds smarter if you add “- Plato” behind a saying
These are beautiful plants and should produce a nice bounty. Here is sativa at harvest time (72 days after stretch).
Nice !! @Stomper do you think mine will fill in like yours ?
Yours will produce the tops like mine. I let my sativa get a bit taller than the Scrog before flipping on that Grow to see the difference from a previous Grow and got a much bigger yield. Not sure it would help an indica Grow due to how oily those buds get.
You may need stakes down the road looking at how they are doing. Got 24 four foot bamboo and 100 twist ties for 10 bucks at the local hardware store.
Yes, I have been thinking that the might be needed if these big buds come to fruition. I’m still having a hard time believing I can grow something that awesome.
Well, not that I doubted you guys, but you sure were right. I am watching magic happen right before my eyes. I took these pictures this morning and I’m beginning to see some big buds in my future. This is 5th wk in flower. Also my single Indica Queen in the wife’s flower garden is now 5ft tall, and is filling in quite nicely. She is actually starting to show signs of flowering, pistals starting to sprout. I’m feeding the Fox Farm triple combo, call me crazy, but I have been feeding her full strength, every morning, and she drinks about 1 1/2 gallons late afternoon. She looks really healthy so I can’t see any reason to change. I can’t wait to see the buds start growing on my Queen.
With any nutrient line, you wanna water with plain ph water every other watering. If not, you’re gonna burn them
Thanks again @HornHead, I have been sticking to that schedule with my tent setup to the letter. And having great success so far. I do sometimes take the day off from watering, it has been so humid lately that I added another fan to keep things moving. When should I start to worry about mold ? The humidity is in the tent is 74 now, but it is raining hard outside, and I just turned the AC on. On days like this I can get it down to maybe 65. Humidity outside 90 percent
@HornHead, to get back to the Queen of the garden, she is 5ft tall and going through a monsoon right now. We haven’t gotten much rain this summer (until today), and my I have been alternating the FF triple mix, with tap water. I give her about a quart of the food in the morning, and she’s been drinking over a gallon of water in the evening. My wife’s garden is on a sunken part of the back yard that used to be level. It is about 20 ft away from a small stream. We just thew in some mulch and compost soil to bring it back up to grade, but I believe there is some underground drainage channeling a good part of the water, and nutes away. But she is doing well, and I am looking for any sign of nute burn, or any other problem, if something happens I’m sure I can get some help from all you fellow growers out there.@Drinkslinger @tanlover442
Also with the foxfarms nutes, you wanna flush out pot every once in awhile because of salt build up
@Pat2…Heck, Pat2…what you are doing is doing well !!! Keep a close eye on the leaf tips…as the super dark green indicates LOTS of NITROGEN. Best to stay a little on the light side.
The outdoor girl is getting lots of fresh nitrogen rainwater so would be a good idea to hold off more until the ground dries out a little.
Let the indoor Ladies do their thing. It’s going to be a very good harvest at your house…
Monsoon is right. I’ve got some smaller flowering plants that were almost laid flat. I had to move them inside.
Stakes to support the Ladies…especially with big beautiful buds is always part of my grow plan.
@tanlover442, That brings up a good point. My girl doesn’t have buds yet, but when they come, what is the best way to support her ? @Budbrother @Drinkslinger
@Pat2…many options. Most are the same as would be used for tomatoes.
I like long plastic coated metal stakes…any garden center …and plastic coated wire to tie them loosely. Dun wanna strangle them, just softly cuddle them. Once you get monster buds hanging, same stakes could support in same manner. Remember, if you dun support the Lady, she will have to use resources to grow roots and stalk. She will make more goodies if lovingly supported.
You can always support them with bamboo stakes if you find the buds get too heavy.
The ones that were bent over today from that 1" downpour are smaller 1 gal plants that I’m experimenting with. I bring them out for 12 hours of light and then put them back in the tent for lights out. It’s a pain in the ass. I probably won’t do it again.
