About to harvest first successful Auto. Starting my first photos. Growing a big bud, amnesia haze, and chocolope. Going to document the entire grow here becaus I couldn’t remember any dates on the auto that I’m finishing up. Lol. It’s been a pain, so I figured if I started a journal on here it might help.
Popped the seeds and as of today they are in the soil. 4x4 tent. 2 led grow lights (“1000 watts each” cheapies from amazon). Using a living soil mix with FFOF. It worked great in the auto, so I’m hoping for similar results with these girls.
Using city water run through a Britta filter. On my last grow I didn’t use any additional nutes. Just mixed in the living soil per the instructions and watered every other day. Growing in 5 gal fabric pots. Was going to pop 2 of each strain but after my auto got so big I decided I’d be better off with one of each strain and see how that did. I’m betting I can get that tent filled up nicely!?!? We shall see.
Isn’t it a great feeling when they sprout, makes me so happy.
Since you are growing Chocolope, mine just started to smell like it’s name sake today. Slight hint of coffee, my wife says. Hope you don’t mind the pic?
Love it! Do you have a journal on her? I’d love to keep up with one ahead of mine. I can’t wait to smell and taste her. My wife is most excited about the Chocolope because she gets bad migraines. I’m excited for all 3 because it should keep me moving all day and slow me down at night.
Sorry, I’m like deficient as usual, off to a great start. It will be interesting to compare the 3 strains as they grow. From memory they have similar flowering times, it will be interesting watching sativa v indica grow.
Good vibes and good luck brother
Very similar flowering time. This will be the first time I’ve grown 3 different strains together. Should be fun to watch.
I’ve been tracking temp and rh through my last grow. Here’s a chart for the last couple of months. I’d love it to be a little more steady, but it’s staying within the ranges son I’m pleased. We’ve had some serious weather swings this year and my tent is in a poorly insulated room with supplemental heat.
BB - 9W, AH - 9W and Choc - 10W
Flower times.
I’m hearing you! RH has been through the roof where I live, it’s been up arond 80% difficult to contend with, but not impossible, I’m loving super/living soil, so easy to use, no ph, no nutes, I’m loving it.
It’s definitely the way to go! It’s been forever since I’ve grown and I can’t imagine going back to mixing nutes and always dancing that fine line of too much/not enough. Living soil takes all the guess work out of it and let’s you enjoy the grow for the most part. I’m excited to see how it does with these strains now. The white widow auto sure did love it.
No problem, happy to help. I haven’t grown since I was a teenager (have 20 yr old daughter now) so much has changed. Coco, hydro, LED’s, so many nutes! I really like the simple and effective approach.
Sounds like we’re are in about the same boat. That about how long it’s been for me. And we got started late on kids my oldest is 15, but we waited 8 years to start em.
Caught up on my IOU’s , I enjoyed our chat today, thanks.
My daughter and partner turned up for a visit, so it’s gonna be an awesome weekend, hope you have the same my friend
Will do. Enjoying a little slow time with work, so its been nice. Getting anxious for my WW to finish. The last week or so always seems to be the slowest. Good chatting with you.
