I transplanted my little seedlingings into bigger cups the about 2 days ago and i woke up and this is what my seedlings are looking like. I let them get about 6 hours of sleep. My ppf is around 400 the nutrients in the seedling soil is around 0.03 all npk i added about a little less than a quarter of worm castings to the cup. Im running the germination in a ac infinity germination light box. I dont use the heat mat.
What are you using for soil? How much water are you giving them each time and how often?
Welcome to the forum.
Miracle grow seedling soil. And i watered them just a little bit when i transplanted them i coated there roots with great white mycorrhizae
This is likely your problem and most certainly the cause of the burned leaf tips… MG products are loaded with time-release nutrients that nuke your plants with nitrogen and submarine your pH every time you water. Any MG, Vigoro, or any Scotts products in general paired with cannabis is a no-go. They actually design their products to be cannabis un-friendly on purpose.
Fox Farm soils, Black Magic, Coast of Maine, and Roots Organics are all good soil options.
Avoid overwatering at this stage. More than a few ml per watering will overwhelm them. Let the soil dry out between waterings. Seedlings tolerate dry soil far better than wet soil at this stage.
So should i take them out of the soil and transplant them into some diffrent soil? Or is it to late
I would transplant when they are big enough to transplant (when they outgrow the cups.)
I think one is going to die. The other 2 are suspects to dying, well you live amd you learn. I wont never use seedling soil unless its from reputable people in the growing industries.
Leaning like that is often a symptom of overwatering. Let the soil dry out before watering again and then only give a few ml of water at a time. Increase watering quantity as the plant matures, but never water more than the plant is capable of drying out the pot within 2 to 3 days.
If it was me I’d also try turning the light down.
Thanks everyone for the tips and help.
@Prometheus420 get them out of that MG soil asap! Water only when dry, and water out near the edge where dirt meets cup, that makes roots seek the water and grow in the process. By letting them dry between watering, the top dries first, making the roots drive deep to reach the water. Bargain soils are usually no bargain, they will cost you in the end, with dead or stunted burnt plants or by small yields. Good luck!
