Hey so just wondering why new growth is slow to green on this samquanch og auto is soil
What type of soil and how many weeks since emergence?
It looks like it’s in flower. What nutes and when they started.
Looks very correctable to these eyes…
She looks like she’s starved for Nitrogen.
Im going to agree with Field and say shes hungry for some Nitrogen even tho when in flower they dont require alot of Nitrogen but Nitrogen is needed at every stage of life
That’s Iron deficiency. Put something rusty into water over night. Use rusty water to feed the plant.
Give me a little more info Growmie, that’s not new growth. I go to my run off numbers when I see issues, what is the run off PH and PPMs, nutrients you’re using and PH. PPMS you’re feeding at and medium. What’s your lighting height above the plant canopy?
Wow does that really work? After the first night how long would you continue using that? That’s a pretty cool tip.
It’s usually a one n done thing. Rust = Ferrous Oxide. It’s been oxidized and converted into usable form.
If I were still experiencing yellowing new growth after, I would do a foliar for instant correction. Sticking a rusty nail into the soil would provide a continuous release. I’ve had to do that outside a couple times.
This is old-school growing information. Nowadays, someone tells you to go buy a bottle of something.
You have an iron deficiency.
What are you using to feed her? You should be using a product with the proper NPK ratio and micronutrients (iron, copper, boron, manganese,…)
Thank you for sharing that old school knowledge nugget!! I’m storing that one for future reference sir!!
Added to brainadex for sure
If you have a Nitrogen deficiency, here’s from an April posting…
You could try a foliar spray of ammonia. 2 choices, pee in a jar and let it sit 24 hours, use about an ounce per quart of water and mist the leaves at lights out. Male pee only, female urine has a whack of hormones.
Or use can use some good ol’ household ammonia, an ounce of that in a spray bottle. I do this (refuse to piss on my plants, don’t care if it’s good for them or not!). Again, lights out so it dries before lights on. Nitrogen is absorbed thru the leaves in a couple of days versus 4 or 5 thru roots.
Then you don’t have to wait until a feeding, by the time you feed them they should be a lot greener. I also use this on fresh clones, apparently it helps with the root development.
You can add that to your brainadex too @Skid2 ! Just make sure the ammonia is diluted about 1:15. Gets them green real quick!
I ran out of ff big bloom just picked up another bottle. That should even out the iron issue shouldn’t it? If not I have concentrate iron for plants if big bloom is enough
Yes. Big Bloom contains iron.
Thanks. Curious if you have any idea how long until it should start greening up? I know patience is key just want to know how long to wait to know if needs more or does it not matter since I should wait until dirt is dry for next watering cycle?
