I am in a few grow groups on FB. The hate on ILGM comes up from time to time. Every once in a while, I post some of my pics from my ILGM grows, just to sssshhh them :grinning:

What is that?

I have other suggestions but does he mean this bank

Other wise a reference to lactobacilli strains or some land based strain, pretty sure it’s the above bank though

Looks like Phylos and ILGM have a deal working, I checked Phylos and the minimum seed order is 50 seeds. They do have some interesting offerings, hopefully ILGM begins carrying more of their seed.

Phylos genetics is supplying seeds.

Selling pylos genetics isn’t going to help. That’s like bad karma wrapped in a bad faith.
Not going to help with the reputation at allšŸ‘Ž

There’s not a OG breeder in America that feels that those guys didn’t rip them off in bad faith.

I have feeling that it is going to get interesting!

Well I still buy LEDs from brands that had an early history of overstating the grams per watt, nutrients from brands that sold me expensive snake oil, seeds from companies that sold autos as 65 days seed to harvest so it’s not that bad if they have changed their whole ethics and ethos.

Few real world consequences, pretty sure lots will buy them regardless of the past.

We’ve had a number of new growers recently that struggle with when to feed and how much. I always recommend calibrating feedings by using a PPM meter. Growers with a bunch of experience don’t need it so much, as they can go by ā€œfeelā€ and how the plant looks. I always check PPM when watering just to get a precise reading of where things are. It’s the OCD in me. I could probably just go by look and feel at this point though.

Lactobacilli strains are strains of bacteria, not cannabis strains.

My water is straight from the tap after sitting there for a couple of days to let the bleach dissipate. I’m at a low 300ish so I always add that too a thousand Max when I’m feeding. So 1300 is not bad for me going in. I always do less than the recommended dosage. I’m always using syringes to make sure it is precise as I can get. I never test for salts either and if I did I don’t even know what I would look for LOL
I did test rainwater and was amazed and how little ppm there was in it less than a hundred And the pH wasn’t bad. I live in a condo so it’s hard to grab rainwater without nosy neighbor saying something. I wish I could use just pure rain water.

Unfortunately TDS is additive so you are pushing a higher nutrient load than your situation would warrant. You can burn plants starting with high TDS water and adding recommended nutes. This is why hydro growers use R/O to control the entire load.

A tablespoon of 3% peroxide will bind to all chlorine molecules and gas off within minutes.
