Yeah she will recover , just make sure you don’t apply any more pressure on the same branch, might happen again
Looks like you did a good job taping her back up. She should recover well.
barber pole, and tightly wrapped neat,…no, it’s not obvious you’re an electrician, not at all (hehe )
I had a northern lights last grow that split at the top right where I topped it and I didnt notice it right away and it had dried too much to put back together so I just put a clip on it to keep it from getting worse.
That plant had trichomes everywhere. I saved the yellow leaves and tried them out and got knocked on my butt. I dont know if it was coincidence or the plant reacted to the stress by trying to protect itself. I am going to try that again on purpose soon.
Point is a split is nothing to worry about.
Yes i wrapped her tight and with care my son was upstairs crying he had to wait my wife definitely jealous of me and the girls relationship.
Yes it will bounce back, good tape job is a must.
not really. I had one when about 14" tall seedling, snap at ground level. I repaired it with my neighbor’s bee honey and some clear packing tape and buried the break and all that below the dirt level a couple inches and she’s now come back to being my 2nd biggest and NEARLY about to take over being biggest plant
That’s why i named her Nancy Kerrigan
They really ARE resilient though in what they can/will take can come back from. Was trying the rolling stems to “pop” them to make them bend a certain way technique and my shrek hands/fingers popped’em alright…turned purple at that “knuckle” bend it formed and next day was brown but you know what? it was over halfway down the stalks on both of them i did it to and everything above and below are still healthy green and growing. it turned itself back upright on each of the two stalks overnight and has had significant growth over past week and a half
they’re pretty tough
I split two plants right down the middle. Both are still growing and held together with Gorilla Tape.
Man nice shade tree. Lol
I just used pipe cleaners on split in my last grow. With pruning sealer. Keeping it like a trophy. Lol. She obviously made it through.
@37 @MeEasy WOW Today I went down and looked at the two girls the Western Grail has two big Stems growing well as thick as my finger but as few days ago in my manhandling. I broke the one stem in 3/4 of the way. and Because I didn’t notice it ,she keep growing well I might say. thats why I never noticed I went down to trim some fan leaves keeping shade on some lower buds. THEN I SAW IT! I Hobbled upstairs grabbed the honey and a ziptie Poured her all over the split with honey, ziptied her like a pervert having a fun time in Vegas, than back together just like a puzzle piece and poured more on it and heaped the dirt on top on it ,covered it well. I have seen this work for many of you… WEED can take a lot of abuse. wow. ANYONE try to grow Poppies in your tent?
