Ok guys and girls iits time to play a little truth game who here can honestly say that they had done months of research and watching videos on how to grow cannabis ,i know i done research and watching videos on how to grow cannabis i done research for two months reading and watching grow videos on YouTube videos like how to grow ,how to defoliate and lst ,how to lollipop ur plant ,how to make super soil and the list goes on ,in the end did help me or did it make it harder well what i done i took all the information i had and i took things from all different videos and from what i had read and i came up with something that suited me just by adding all these different things from videos and what i had read and also tweaking things a little bit and yes im still trying improve on what i had learnt and come up with

I have, particularly when learning how to grow mushrooms. I’ve watched countless hours of YT vids on growing mushrooms.

Unfortunately I dove in head first without doing any research. I found out real quick it was a mistake. Since I found this community of kind knowledgeable people I have learned a lot and I continue to read and watch videos on every aspect of growing. I know I will be learning until I no longer grow!! I’ve watched a few select videos, mainly interacting with folks on this forum and reading journals has been the biggest help for me. There’s a lot of weird and contradictory info out there on Y.T. so mainly stick to the more scholarly posts there. Looking at people’s deficiencies and the diagnosis has been a great help too.

I watched and still follow a couple of the more informational videos/podcasts. Most that I saw are just kids having fun with very little information.
Mostly now I watch about soil building.
Mr Growit has some good guests with good information.

I’m a learn as I grow type. Don’t do well with research as much as I do with field training lol. Although I have watched hours of videos and read tons of info.

I followed the jungle boys for a while, read countless hours of multiple forums, put blood sweat and tears into it , and continue to do so

I’ve done 3 decades of research, watching videos and reading books and magazine articles, talking to other growers, experiments, trial and error, etc…

So am I, always looking to improve, always trying different training and defoliation methods, nutes, microbes, other additives, lights, light supplements like UVA, UVB, far red, light schedules and intensity.
