White squiggle on my leaf - what is it?

Hello again!

SOOO… a couple days ago, I noticed a white squiggly line on the leaf of one of my plants. It’s only on one leaf and doesn’t seem to be spreading, as far as I can tell. Does anyone know what it is? I’ve searched the internet and the only thing I can find that’s remotely close are leaf miners…. Is that something indoor plants can get?

Betsy is an auto (Gorilla Glue) and sprouted 15 days ago. She lives inside, Humidity 50-60%, temp 76-78F, LEDs 18/6, fans 24/7, no nutes yet due to FFOF soil.

Thanks guys.

Wouldn’t worry too much about the lowest leaves, but I would keep an eye out for pests. Almost looks like it could be some kind of miner bug. They basically graze and leaves squiggly lines almost just like that. Captain Jack’s Dead Bug is safe through whole plant cycle and washes away in a bud wash at harvest. If it is pests, just spritz the little girl once a day, then after they’re controlled, you can use it once or twice a week as maintenance. Good luck and happy growing!

Oh, I hope so! I’d hate to think Betsy might have a fungus or something! Genetics sounds much better! Since this is my first grow, I’m a big worry wart! Thanks for replying! CJ

It looks like leaf miners. Tiny bugs that live in the leaves.Clip off all infected fan leaves and check out this I found on them Leaf Miners & Cannabis - How to Identify & Get Rid of It Quickly!

Awesome! I’ll order some Captain Jacks asap! Hopefully it’s not a gross miner, but if it is I’ll be ready for it! Thanks a lot!

Lol .I just joined the forum today. I am looking forward to growing and sharing ideas with everyone. I don’t have any personal experience with leaf miners, I just recognized what it was. It won’t hurt your plant to lose that infected leaf.

Yea definitely looks like a leaf miner trail. Those things can be DEVASTATING… between them and spider mites… i abhor them.

Look under your leaves. They are super tiny but can and will munch every leaf they can get too! Check out the life cycle of the leaf miner, and work on a plan to attack every stage. And be diligent. Evwn when they are gon, keep the guns blazing.

All I recommend is buy the concentrate so you can dilute. Much more cost effective.

Thanks everyone for your help! I looked under the leaves with a magnifying glass and didn’t see any pests so I removed the leaf and shes been fine since!! No white squiggles! she’s growing and I noticed yesterday that she smells really good, like a skunk :skunk: lol she’s only 19 days old and I wasn’t expecting that quite yet! Love it!
