Not sure what this white film is on the bottom stem going up my plant anybody know? I peeled most of it off and under it the plant is more green. Not sure what it is? Any idea? Sorry about the quality and this film went from the soil all the way up but most I peeled off except what you can see. Thanks guys!

I have this on every plant that I have started from seed. I think it is normal growth as the stem gets fatter and it sheds the outer surface.

You need to wait until each image loads before clicking on the “Reply” button. Your images did not load.
Here they are, what’s your thoughts on them? Need more or less of anything? Bruce banner autos, Mars’s hydro T600light. Happy frog soil.

I don’t know the answer but I would not worry too much. I often have seedlings that do that early on. They grow out of it in a few days or maybe a week.
A white film is often a sign mycelium has taken hold.
Fungus is the only thing that is capable of breaking wood down.
Your roots can communicate with mycelium and request nutrients.
The Mycelium can use its film/network to transport needed nutes from great distances.
It becomes like a HUGE organism, covering 100’s of acres of a coated forest.
With the network transporting the needed nutes to all connected if available.
The plant repays the fungus with something it wants for feeding it.
