When should you stop co2 during flower??
Immediately. CO2 doesn’t do the average hobby grower any good. Specific environmental parameters must be dialed in for a plant to even use excess CO2.
For CO2 to be effective you need:
-A sealed grow space
-Environmental controls to manage high humidity and temperature
-Double the light needed to grow conventionally (1,300+ µmol)
-Gas monitor to maintain correct partial pressure
-Oxygen to root mass to prevent suffocation of the plant
If you don’t have all of these in place it would really be a waste of time to try to deal with it. Also; most dedicated CO2 users run their plants in some kind of hydroponics so they can push insane nutrient loads.
In short you don’t need it to grow good cannabis. If you are technically-minded and have a large budget then CO2 might be for you.
I’ll add that a former member of this forum lost a friend to CO2 poisoning from his grow space.
I have everything I need to run it correctly…
My plants are thriving.
Just wanna know when to stop it be fire harvest…
I’m thinking like two weeks…
But would nice to know for sure.
Sorry to hear that
I think he said dont start lol.
You probably wont know a difference anyway.
Let’s please be courteous to one-another.
The real answer to the OP’s question, assuming the environment is such that a plant can even use the excess CO2, is through the early flowering stretch when the plant is actually growing. CO2 benefits growth rates the most. Once a plant is solely focused solely on ripening flower the last few weeks, CO2 isn’t going to make much of a difference.
Very few hobby growers have the technical knowledge, growing experience, and equipment to benefit from a high CO2 environment. It is a waste of time and money for 95% of us.
I’ll take everything you are saying into consideration…
But they have had co2 since week 2…
Don’t want to change anything up at this point…
Thank you for the information…
