If you do a scrog, install some kind of net, you can train the plants and veg them for quite a while longer, to fill in the remaining space.
But the question remains, how large do you want them to be? What kind of harvest are you looking for?
I’m sorry, but I don’t know what a scrog is. I also don’t have great expectations as far as yield is concerned, being my first time. I’d like to produce as much as possible.

This is a scrog (screen of green)
Allows you to train your plants horizontally, utilizing all of the space in the tent, therefore, increasing overall yield.

Want more yield, let them get bigger. Also better/stronger lighting will go a long way to producing more yield.

Gotcha. I do have some 4x4 nets I plan on using once they get a bit larger. That and I have some 5k watt lights coming.

Uhhh I meant 3000K. 5000 lumen. Not wattage.
