Will peat work as well as coco?

About any strain can be supercropped. Iā€™ve done northern lihhts plus about 10 more.

I was afraid to do that and only relied on LST before taking the plunge.

Just be sure to take your time and pinch, roll and twist the stem gently , it should take at least 30 seconds.

Sorry, donā€™t know anything about using peat. I am 100% potting soil.

Good luck you will do fine. These people on here are not judgemental and have great ideas that are also practical.

Thanks! In the past I used my own mix of common potting soil and compost & organic additives but this year I have added a few more things including rabbit pellets. Not sure if name brands are allowed but got some hfof and ffbb this yr. I only use the peat as an amendment but I noticed you said to leave the plants in coco until a certain point and since I didnā€™t have any (yet) I was wondering if peat would work as a sub. I really appreciate those pics of the steps, extremely helpful.

Growing in coco in a different type of growing all together. Since coco is inert it is a a form of hydroponics.

Peat is much the same but is not a renewable and some find it harmful for the environment.

I would suggest you either grow in coco and perlite or soil. Donā€™t add amendments to your coco

If ur looking for a quantity of product at the end a mainline is not gonna be the way to go for the first run. Fin or top and do list on it keep it spread open and keep as flat of a convoy on top as u can. A mainline take a lot of time to get shit set in spots then grow time more training then more grow time. To get a nice mainlined plant with a decent quantity of material at the end is gonna take u quite a time to get there honestly I think u should run a few plants with some lat and lollipop and then once so far into grow start another that u can play around with and do work on while these finish up for u. Uā€™ll have product to smoke and have something close to being flipped for flower that has been trained and doing what u want it to do. Uā€™ll see what I mean on time and shit if u get to doing the mainline. But again to me I wouldnā€™t start a mainline if Iā€™m looking to have some product to smoke in the super near future.
