It’s not just you apparently. @MidwestGuy says he’s using 7-9ml to get to the zone as well. I’m about to go add 5ml to a gallon of water and I’ll report back. Curious to see how low it comes out as.
@Bobbydigital Yeah I saw that. Part of my response what at him as well. Now you have me curious to see how it comes out for you.
After adding 5ml to a gallon of water starting at 7.9 my end result was 3.4
Wow…that is crazy. Wth…something must be going on with my water and @MidwestGuy. Makes me wonder what is causing it. I’m to cheap to have a water test done.
I got my new Apera meter today ao I will get it calibrated. I will do two tests…before and after calibration. Then go from there.
Pretty wild. What is the PPM of the water before you added the 5ml?
350ppm. At peak feeding in veg it hits 1200ppm and requires 15 drops to get to 6.5. Once I start using bloom nutes I have to switch to ph up because they’re quite acidic. The ph up will require 5-7ml to bring it up to 6.5
I think I misspoke now after having read your latest post. I believe I’m using pH Up rather than pH Down. pH is really low at 900 PPM and it takes ~8ml pH Up to get it back to 6.6.
Makes sense now. Sorry for the confusion.
