this is my first time growing and not sure that my plant looking so good. This picture is the 14 day (today) and notice that one of the leaf is going down. Is it bad?? Help @bob31

Hi @msparis2195 and welcome to ILGM forum If you talk about the cotyledon leaves (first set of round leaves), itās totaly normal, they gone a fall and itās ok Donāt worry, sheās looking fine, just a little stretchyā¦ You can fill the support ticket and if a there really a problem it gone a probably show
@msparis2195, how far is that light from it, that little girl needs a lot of light so she wonāt stretch to get it. I used a 150w for my first grow, Iām interested in following this. Good luck

I think we are missing the strain of MJ plant and I see pH is Na. What are you watering with? Tap, distilled?
Also the soil is miracle grow potting mix
What sort of container is that your plant is in and does it have ample drainage so that the soils drys out between watering. How often do you water and how are you watering?
Ok, miracle grow potting mix is not the ideal medium for your seedling and sprouting, if you see more yellow leaves or difformity with the real set of leaves in the incoming days you will have to give a thought about putting them in an another medium, however itās not alarming your first set of real leaves seem to be healty
If you donāt already have a PH pen meter and a TDS pen meter, iāll suggest you get those, most problem come from PH or nutrients issues , it would be wise to possess themā:+1: hereās some thatās not too pricy
Ok should be alright, might want move it up basically use this, if itās too hot for the back of your hand for 10 to 15 seconds itās too hot for your plant. Now I would try about 12 to 14 inches away an see how it does, if you see that it is starting to āstretchā gets taller and the stem wonāt be able to support it, so just keep an eye try the back of your hand trick an keep us posted
I donāt believe that that is anything to worry about.
when the seedling is finished sucking the nutrientās from itās supply the bottom leaves will turn yellow and die and fall off

but now im just thinking about starting over because this how it look now in the morning.
If i start over can i still start it off in the 6" pot and just pick a different soil to use? And thank you all for helping me, cause this is my first time every growing any type of plant, it means alot.
I think youāve over watered her just aa bit.
Push or put some more soil up around her for support.
then water once a day and thatās just lightly watering. okand letās see if she pullās throigh ok
