Hey Tim. Welcome to ILGM!
Do you know the PH of your water? The support ticket sort of suggests runoff PH but it would be good to know the PH of what you water with.
Also, type of soil?
Also, check the leaves closely, underneath too. With a jewelers loop if possible. I see little white specs, just want to make sure they’re aren’t spider mites.
All-in-all your plants look good though man.
I use fox farm soil, and how do i check ph?
I use the same soil and have good luck. A PH meter is what you would use. You want a ph of around 6.5-6.6. Out of that range and your plant won’t be able to uptake nutrients from the soil, or take too much in other cases.
I would lean towards a magnesium deficiency or calcium. Both can be fixed using Cal-Mag. Let some others suggest ideas as well to be safe. Without knowing PH it wouldn’t surprise me.

I think if you get a PH meter and PH your water (after adding any nutrients/additives) you’ll be fine. Your plants look pretty good.
Also, I waited 4.5 weeks before using nutrients in that soil, for what it’s worth.
Ok awesome thanks i will get one , and is it safe to use anything now or do i wait 2 more weeks to add nutrients?
I wouldn’t add anything unless consensus says cal/mag def. Even then I might just try to PH it correctly and see if it corrects itself since it’s early on whatever it is.
Are you using city tap water?
While you’re at it, get some PH up and down and come calibration solution. And an eye dropper or pipette.
If it were me I would wait and check the PH level of your water before adding nutes as @Matthew420 suggested. Adjusting the PH might solve your issue. But they do look pretty healthy.
Keep in mind that those spots will most likely remain there, most of the time leaf discoloration won’t revert back to there green color so what you will want to watch is the new growth that forms to see if your problem is solved.
They look fine… no worries. Sometimes plants just get strange spots. They actually look really healthy.
I wouldn’t go looking for goblins in your grow. It’s kinda like a parents first child, every sneeze, every little cough doesn’t mean they have pneumonia. Take a wait and see approach. Whatever you’re doing right now seems to be working. If the necrosis gets worse, then there may be something to correct… but like I said, no worries.
Yes i was using tap water but i would boil it then let it sit over 24hours before i use it
Thanks i really appreciate it icwill keep u guys updated during my first grow thanks for the advice
The new leafs appeared with no spots so maybe i was overreacting but its my first grow i just wanna do it as best as i can
I was the same way with my first grow. Anything and everything I thought was an issue and that I was doing something wrong. They all turned out great in the end. I didn’t even monitor my PH level on my first grow. (I had issues with my 2nd grow that were attributed to a PH inbalance so all my future grows I monitor it to prevent issues)
Good luck! There is nothing like the feeling of consuming your own meds that you tended to.
Gosh a can’t wait until it is legal in my state!!
Im still waiting for that as well lol and one more thing what wattage LED will be good for 2 plants to help me get a good yield?
@tim245 get as much light as you can an afford and that your space will allow. Some use the rule of 50w per square foot. I myself use 100w per square foot. We’re trying to imitate the sun right? So, the more the better… but once again, only if your space can handle it.
Now some of the upper leaves have done it as well what could i do?
