Thanks @beardless I forgot he posted that.
@HombreRobusto get a tds meter and get a tds runoff from each plant, I want to make sure that your plants are healthy before we flip them to flower.
So your in soil correct?
And your choosing to top dress with organic mediums rather then choosing a nutrient line?
This is going to make things much more complicated just so you are aware, where did you get the 4-4-4 ratio from?
I ask this because I understand kelp I nitrogen as well as work castings, and oyster shells are calcium but bat gunao mixes come in a variety of ratios.
Also understand that with soil fertilizers like these take a significant amount of time to show effects, we are talking anywhere from 3 weeks to a couple months depending on the mosture level and the amount of microbes in your soil.
Going forward Remeber that, live no till soil is what many want to strive for the but the challenges around it require some expertise.
It’s not a topic I am very familiar with but I have grown in soil for a couple years. I found that using the biggest pots possible with layered degrees of soil strength worked best but to get a good harvest you always need to feed. A better organic option would be teas or bottled organic nutrients.
is it a rspec 260w hlg?
Unfortunately these two lights have different chips in them so without a expensive PAR meter getting your lights exactly dialed in both at the same time is next to impossible. No worries though as you have good lights and to be honest I think your lighting is fine if your hanging them at 18" so ensure your lights are at 18"
you do also have a Wierd sized tent a 3.5x3.5 normally it’s 3x3 or 4x4, heck everything about your grows a little bit different and more complex haha.
Once we are done forcing the flip I suggest you turn them both to full power, this will help control the stretch as well as give more light when you get on a 12/12 scedule.
Also the reason I say don’t feed distilled water is your plants will be stripped of nutrient much much faster first off but secondly the calcium in your tap water will be used by your plants.
Do you have a temp controller for your ducting fan? Or are you by chance using a AC infinity model.
Do you have a humidfior?
So in summary
Let’s get a tds reading from each plant
Controller? Humidifier? What’s the exhaust mintake situation?
Ensure lights are at about 18"
Don’t feed distilled water.
