6 weeks (41 days) Autoflower. Not a single pistol whatsoever. (Not even a possible sign of a hair). Very healthy. Perfect numbers. Adequate growth. Yada yada yada.
What would you do? Wait it out or flip 12/12

If you got the space let her go. Some autos can take up to 11 or 12 weeks before doing their thing.

Had this exact thing with one I’ve got going now.
Same strain started same time all that.
These 2 showed sex and few weeks later autoflowered and are about done.
This one wasn’t even showing sex even after the other 2 had been deep into flower.
It did continue to grow and is alot biger then the other 2. I stuck it in a closet with a photo on 12/12 and it still took 3-4 weeks to finally flower.
Idk if it was the 12/12 and its a photo or if it just took forever to mature and transition as an autoflower.
I took clones and they are rooted and no signs of re-veging yet so it may just be an auto with a really long “timmer”

Some Autos don’t get the Auto gene and need to go to 12x12 to flower. I’ve had some auto seeds that one out of five that keep going until I flip to 12x12.

I’m kind of in the same situation I have another one identical to her that’s one day older and she’s been in flour for 3 weeks. This is the first time it’s ever happened to me. I’m extremely patient. Unfortunately she’s one of those smaller 420 fast Bud seeds that don’t get very big anyway or I would actually appreciate the extra veg time to grow her bigger.
Yeah I kind of think that’s what’s going on with me. It’s the only light that I have and I kind of am a little worried about flipping to 12/12 as I have other girls in the tent on 18/6
I really don’t know what I’m going to do right now. Nevertheless if I do flip her to 12/12 and she starts her little pre-flower thing can I flip it back over to 18-6 and everything be okay?

Maybe yes, maybe no.
If it is indeed a photo and the 12/12 triggers flower. Then it should revert back to veg if taken of 12/12 like a photo would.
I took the clones from mine once she was in flower just so i can know for sure if mine is infact a photo. I put the clones under 18/6 and if she is infact a photo period, then the clones should re-veg…
But if it’s just an auto with a long timer then yeah, lights want matter, but that also means the 12/12 shouldn’t be able to do anything 
It’s kinda a guessing game till something re-vegges to confirm

That’s some great points there. So basically your plant was supposed to be an auto flower but turned out to be a true photo.
My question would be I would think it’s less likely to be a true photo in my situation because the seeds came from 420 fast buds that doesn’t sell photo seeds.
On the other hand if you mean genetically the Autoflower trait (Ruderalis) didn’t kick in keeping her photo status. She definitely has the auto flower size as she’s only about 2 ft tall (2 and 1/2 tops)
Lastly, if I flip it having to go 12/12 what’s the disadvantage of continuing 12/12 with the remainder of autoflowers in the tent that are used to 18-6?

I’ll know in a couple weeks if the clones I took revert back to veg. If they stay in flower then its an auto, if they re-veg then its a photo. But yeah supposed to be auto.
Absolutely nothing really. I move autos around all the time, I’ve got 3 tents and a closet and they all on different trimmers. I dont even think about the autos, if i need the room i stick them anywhere they fit, 12/12, 18/6, and even 24hrs if i got alot of clones starting, I’ll turn lights on 24hrs and no issues.

I think I’ll give her 10 days. If I don’t see a single pistol in 10 days I’ll go ahead and flip my lights to 12 and 12. Thanks for the help ,

You could take a few clones before you did and kerp them in 18-6.
Who knows, if it is a true photo you could grow an indefinite amount of them free plants is always good

That’s a good idea I’ve never done it before I have to research it. I don’t know what the clip or where the clip and what to do with it after I clip it LOL
If it were a photo it’s green crack and that’s a fantastic strain to have for free

Yep, let her rip for a while. Maybe even do some topping on that one to keep her canopy below your flowers. Once you decide to flip to 12x12 she will stretch a bit so you don’t want her too tall.

She’s almost finished the stretch. I believe Monday is 2 weeks in stretch. She only grew approximately 4 in the total stretch. She’s about 2ft 3in tall. If you’re familiar with 420 fast bud autoflowers for the most part they’re incredibly small. A big ones only 3 ft tall. I’m going to practice my patience for a week or two see if she’ll kick by herself. I would at least think that I would have seen at least a single pistol by now.

I got one that is ready so I put him on ice, cut and bagged a few, in the freezer for later.
