Autoflower, 9 weeks in veg, no pistols yet. Lighting is 24/7. Can i force it into flower by going 12/12 with the light? Should i, or just let it go naturally?

Sounds like a possible photo mismatch. Looks like its time to try flipping to 12/12. Might want to get some pruning and training out of the way because it might get quite tall in the stretch.

We have seen a few autos take up to 12 weeks. You may have gotten a stubborn one.

I’d definitely throw it on 12/12. Maybe 14/10. Maybe take a few of those big fans around the inner parts to allow for light and airflow.

One thing i did when switching my photos was to skip a light cycle, so 36hrs dark, and made it as cold as i could. Within 3 days i started seeing calyxs with hairs. That might give it a push in the right direction.

Defoliated some. Put light at 12/12 for the last 2 nights, waiting patiently. Going on 10 weeks no pistols yet. Roots are massive. I’ll try to get a pic of roots when i change solution in a couple of days or so.

Probably a photo, I’ve had it happen a few times from growers choice seeds. When flipped to 12/12 it’ll flower.

Looking for pistols just now and i noticed these on new growth over the last few days, since switching light to 12/12. They look like pollen sacks. This plant, never topped or trained, looks like a female to me. Looks like all my other females in the past. It doesnt look like any of the males ive killed off in the past. Is it a male? Female? Hermorph? Kill it? Let it keep going? Please advise.
