This bud top is about 2 inches long with all those little leaves under it kind of resembles a catapiller never saw any bud like it, photoperiod wedding cake, week 4 of flower
It is a genetic anomaly called polyploidism. It results in strange growth, but is otherwise harmless. Polyploid plants have 2 or more sets of chromosomes.

@Boogy where did you get the seed? I’m wondering if it was the same vendor as the one we recently saw. I had 5 orange barb strain seeds and have grown 3 of them which were all polyploids. They may have come from the same mother plant.
