What would cause this?

I was watering my plants when I noticed this on one of the leaves. What is it? And what could cause it? Any info is always helpful info since I’m a first timer

Those spots can come from a calcium deficiency or a large ph change. If you could explain your growing media, lights, nutes, and all info you can provide , it will help diagnose your problems further.

I have them in the basement of my house in a makeshift greenhouse. I’m using an AGLEX 1000 LED grow light and Fox Farm Big Bloom fertilizer

Hey @Jpiper79 do you mean you have just the one bottle of Foxfarm?

Could be you are feeding not enough potasium or phosphate and no nitrogen if all you have is big bloom. That has a little potasium and a little phosphorus in it but not enough to fill her needs. You need at least tiger bloom and big bloom together a little big grow wouldn’t hurt either. That is the fox farm trio and is ment to be used together. You also need to ph according to your medium soil, peat, coco whatever. Soil is 6.5 to 6.8 promix Bx which is peat based is around 5.8 to 6.2 I think coco is the same but not sure.

I’ve noticed a 5.9-6.0 ph is ideal for promix I think 6.2 is a bit too high

Yes. I was told by a work associate that was all I needed

Ok. I appreciate the help. I have another question tho. A friend of mine gave me some heat lamps from and old aquarium setup he had. Can those hurt my babies? Lol

Exactly as @DRsDank has said :point_up_2:

I actually run 5.6 to 60 in my promix BX

What is the purpose of the heat lamps?

I use the ff trio and calmag if you have any questions. They are designed to work together. I follow their feed chart and water only between feedings.

Im in the same boat, using jacks 321. Just popped up.

Idk. That’s why I was asking if it’ll do any good or bad. I’ve mainly been using them to cover spots that aren’t getting a whole lot of light from my main light and to keep it warm in my “grow room”.

Awesome! Thank you so much. Given that this is really my first time growing, I’d like to think I’m not doing that bad. Each plant is about 4’ high and they’re starting to bud. Lol

Thank you so much! This really is a great forum with great people!

Your plant is hungry. Big bloom will not be enough on its own.

Hey bud your using the K1000 it’s only 100w light. I own the exact same one. Mine is in a 2x2 tent and PPFD map goes from center 1100 to end of tent 550. IMHO you need at least 1 more K1000 for that area and daisy them together. They are on sale rn on Amazon for $60 ish.

Oh ok. Thank you for the info man
