Can someone tell me what’s wrong? I started these 4 and they were doing great. Then I decided to go to the hydro store and buy more coco. The lady gave me a free sample of big bloom from fox farm. It says it’s great for in-between feeds or so I thought. I gave them the recommended dose 4(tbsp per gallon ) and now this happened. They all look like they’re having different issues. The one in the back on tthe left is perfect though so I don’t get it. Big one in back looks burnt and the one in front of it looks deficiencient, I gave them all the same amount at the same time. Fox farms nutrients dosages are listed in teaspoon sizes not tablespoon, so you would have given a dose three times recommended strength.
The fox farms feed schedule says 3 teaspoons of big bloom, not 4, so there is extra dose there as well.
If you truly gave 4 tablespoons worth you should flush your plants with plenty of water to reduce the amount available to the plant.
The existing leaves will look bad until they fall off, there is nothing you can do about them. Focus on the new growth, which might be stunted for awhile if you burned them up with too much big bloom.

Welcome ! your plants look wet, plants can get burnt due to the magnification of the water droplets, Under light. I agree with @CMichGrower only pH water for now.

Makes sense. I wasn’t paying attention 
. I was wondering why the leaves were turning so yellow when I was feeding cal mag like I always do. Must have locked the nitrogen out?

4tbsp isn’t bad for big bloom. There’s not much in it. It’s mostly micro nutes. Are you supplementing calmag?
Yes, daily and the newer growth is nice and green. I’ve just gotten lucky up until now I guess. Normally I might have a little tip burn or something an I’ll just back off them a little.

Thanks, will do. Yea definitely stunted, the one in back wasn’t bothered but the others have slowed alot. At least the new growth is green and looking ok.
I Usually switch it up but I try to stay around the 6 range. I have a liquid but don’t have a digital tester so It’s hard to be spot on. The liquid tester goes from 5 to 6 and then 6.5 so its hard to read at the 5.5 mark. I never go past 6.5 though.

6.5 seems a little high for coco, I usually have money about 5.8-5.9. I agree that it’s good idea not to have leaves wet while lights are on.

Actually that brings another question. I know the optimal pH for soil is 6.5-7.5 and 5.5 to 6.5 for coco. I’ve always used an 80/20 coco/soil mix. Would I treat it like soil or coco?

Runoff was a little under 6.
The one thing that you said that stands out to me , is you said that you feed cal-mag every other day…
I think your overwatering and that’s why your starting to see the premature yellowing on the bottom of the plant…
Also too much water will saturate the roots in nutrients leading to a crazy ph issue and will then lead to damping off or root death because of bad bacteria… 
All of my digital ph testers are paper weights…
I only use drops…
And I run rdwc…
If I go color blind than I’m screwed…lol

I meant to say every other water, I usually water every 2-3 days. I actually thought that I might be underwatering because some people say water coco everyday. I’ve always treated it like soil thought, always wait until the top is pretty dry. I think I just need to learn because I usually start them in solo cups and move them to 3 gallons. This time I started them in 2 gallons and move them to 5 gallons. I didn’t realize how much harder it is to water correctly when the plants are still small. Here’s the roots in the 2 gallon pots, they were only popped for like 2 weeks.
I might not have needed to move them so quick but I got worried when I started seeing roots.

They were drinking so much in those 2 gallon but I might have overdone the 5’s
I have no idea. What I can tell you is that I’ve never personally been successful in any media with a ph over 6.5. Even in soil I had most succes setting ph in low 6’s.

I’m guessing I also didn’t give the nutrients time to settle or something. On my last water I tested the pH and ppm again. I just set big guy to flower in his own space, he got too big 
.
The problem was that some were being fed more than others and I don’t see how since I was mixing all the water together. Big guy was running about 700 ppm. The others were around 200 ppm in coco😳. I gave them a nice 750 ppm of Mr B’s grow time and now they look good.
(Little guy was a super sour Diesel a friend gave me, so he’s not eating quite yet.

The new growth was still yellow and pH was ok so I figured I would test ppm. They were still slowly growing but then after a few days the new growth would start to yellow. They went from a yellowish green to bright green overnight, after feeding.
