What type of rack and tray do you use?

I am getting ready to start my first grow on a 3x3 tent and am gathering the things I need. I will be using 5 gallon bags and was wondering what type of tray and rack to use. Any ideas will be helpful. I plan to start in March. Thank you!

Welcome to the community ! I let my pots drip out before I put them back in the tent on water day , that keeps my tent dry an clean. I also have a couple of pieces of 3/4 PVC under each pot to allow air space between pot and floor surface. Most tents come with a removable catch tray in the bottom. Hope that helps good luck

I built a couple of these out of the top 3ish inches of 5 gallon buckets, then a piece of heavy SS screen that i cut out on the water jet at work… they work great. It allows airflow under the fabric pots, then i just use a wet vac for runoff…

Welcome to the community and good luck with your grow😊

Welcome to the forum.
Here are photos of what I use. The PVC part is where I attach the individual SCROG frames but the frames are optional.

I took PVC pipes and cut them. I then put pairs under each grow bag. I don’t worry about run off but I can still collect run off if needed. :+1:

I use these from BGHydro dot com, the 13" pot elevator and 14" heavy duty tray will work nicely with 5 gallon grow bags.

Here’s 4 of them setup in a 3x3 (using 3 gal grow bags)

@Riverlife, welcome! Are you planning to grow completely indoors, or will they be going outside?

@merlin44 Nice Saw! :+1:

@Hellraiser Thanks for the suggestion! The elevators I looked at on Amazon were so darn expensive I ended up putting my whole tent(s) on top of foam board insulation. I think they would have been handy this month, my seedlings were not happy with how cold it got.

@cumdogg Thank you for the pics and location where you got these. I was planning to do 3 indoors and one outside. It’s a little overwhelming so I want to do it well and probably will stay with 3 indoor plants.

@Riverlife I use huge 3feet by 2.5 foot tupperware totes lids 3-4" deep I fill those every 5-7 days to water from the bottom also feed from the top. Every 3-4 days. I couldn’t afford anything so I looked around the basement and garage found stuff to use in the tent grow
